This place is horrible, I came here on a Saturday due to a bad fall and they took an X-ray saying I may have a fractured tailbone but that they need the radiologist to confirm, instead of prescribing me pain medication the doctor said I should try Tylenol first and that if I need it I can call on Monday to get a prescription sent To the pharmacy if the Tylenol isn’t enough. On Monday I called back as I had a rough weekend to get the results from the radiologist, they said oh the radiologist said it’s a suspected fracture and still couldn’t confirm it, fine. I asked for the prescription for pain medication and was told I had to go pick it up in person. I have issues driving due to my pain and not being able to sit and now have to drive back to pick up the medication I need to manage the pain, when they could’ve just given me the prescription on Saturday when I was there in person. When I tried to call back to file a complaint they simply stopped answering my calls, no one picked up my calls but when I called from a different number they picked up. It is extremely unprofessional how they handled everything and even when I asked for documents or information on how to manage my symptoms they just shrugged and said nothing. It’s nothing but a money making scam of a place, do yourself a favor and never go there unless you have no other choice like I did. I hope you ppl feel good about yourselves
Wonderful staff that went above and beyond to ensure my COVID test was received on time. Every phone call interaction was pleasant with the front desk. Even when my boyfriends’ documents were spelled incorrectly they ensured to correct them on time.Further, Dr. Christina who took our exam was patient and kind. She made the actual PCR test a lot less frightening than rumors made it out to be.All in all, the staff was reassuring when I was stressed out beyond belief, and continually eased my fears of not receiving the COVID results on time.
Dr Sennet and the eMedical staff is kind and professional. Despite the fact that it was very busy during these unprecedented times, they remained focus and fast!
I’ve been coming to this urgent care for quite some time but I had an especially wonderful experience recently with Dr. Sennett. I had to get stitches in my arm and all employees including the doctor, receptionist, and nurse were very kind, concerned, and interested in how I was doing. The doctor made me feel comfortable and safe while she was doing the procedure. I left feeling very happy despite this unfortunate situation. I will continue to come here as long as I live in this area! Thank you for your hard work!
Needed to get a covid test asap. They were very easy to reach, helpful and efficient in booking the appointment & doing telemedicine visit. Actual swab was done by a wonderfully professional woman from the safety of my car, essentially contactless except for the swab. Not fun but she warned me and it was thorough so i trust the results
I would highly recommend EMedical. The staff were caring, competent and knowledgeable. I was highly impressed with the cleanliness as well. The physician spent time with me and answered all my questions. Thank you all !
No reduced or negotiated rate with Cigna . Complete rip off
Such a wonderful customeroriented experience. Great service! Thanks to Dana, Dr. C., Jen, Vicky!! At every step (call, [easy to do] visual appointment, F2F, and paperwork the entire team was FANTASTIC.I highly recommend. Have been before and am especially impressed with this visit (and the pre/post f/u).
I love it here. We have been to this emedical many times and have never been disappointed. We have never waited for more than 10 min to see a doc. Great place!!
Quick & convenient. No appointment needed. Office staff listens to country! (+1) Little to no waiting. Lunch hour can get busy, so plan around that. Nice team and the docs are friendly & knowledgeable.
Last November, I had a fall. When I went to this urgent care, they did a very good job of cleaning and wrapping up my wounds. But then they took an x-ray to see if something was broken, and I get a call from the radiologist saying its inconclusive, go see an Ortho when you get home. So I bring him the x-ray and with one look he says that I clearly had no break and charged me $300. And this urgent care still wanted to be paid for a radiologist saying it was inconclusive....making me pay twice for the same service. Cleaning and Wrapping - very good would come again- Xray awful. They shouldn't offer the service if they can't read them.
I Had my son there today with a large gash on his leg needing stitches (Sunday). From the receptionist to the nurse and doctor all were WONDERFUL! I could not recommend them more highly.
Very happy with my experience. Took one hour total, and was placed in a room within 10 minutes of walking in. The receptionist, nurse and doctor we're all kind, courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. The doctor was especially good, she took her time to understand why I was there, treated my condition appropriately, and took the time to give recommendations for other things I could do to help with symptoms until the medication kicked in. Wish my primary doctor was this good...
I highly recommend this urgent care. The facility is clean and every staff member was friendly during my visit. They are prompt and thorough. Their prices are reasonable and I have only good things to say. The doctor explained everything in detail and gave me a print out of instructions.
I have been a patient here several times and also brought my very elderly mother here a couple of times when she was visiting. I have always been pleased with these experiences, except for one time when the MD couldnt feel enlarged lymph nodes under my chin. Every other time I was treated professionally and yet in a friendly manner. The offices are very clean and neat. The exams were thorough, diagnosis were on target, as was the prescribed treatment. Most recently, I was seen by Dana and Dr. Scolnick. They were both helpful and caring and addressed my problem in an efficiently and accurately. As an Advanced Practice Nurse, I often recommend this office to my own patients.
Up until my visit today with Dr Terryal ( not sure if the spelling is correct ) I would have given this urgent cars a 5 +) I have seen many others physicians here and they all have been great. I recently moved not far from this urgent care and do not have a primary care doctor . Each of these doctors truly take the time to listen to your medical needs and concerns ! It is a shame that Dr Terryal is NOT one that listens to your medical needs and / or concerns ! I am an asthmatic and have been for over 30 years . Unfortunately, I also have many other medical conditions. HE failed to listen to my concerns . I myself know the exact medications that my body needs to get better and stay out of the hospital ! He expressed no interest in listening to what usually works for me ! I am suppose to be leaving for vacation in 4 days , it is important to me as I am sure it is important to others to be prescribed the proper medications to get better quickly and to also have them to Take with you ! I am also under the care of pain management, his suggestion was to use my pain medication to help me sleep due to my cough ! What he does not understand is that I WILL NOT use a medication for pain in a improper way to treat my cough ! It is illegal to even do so!! To take a medication for cough , that was prescribed for pain! I am sure most would agree that is not expectable medical care! Needles to say , since he was so unwillingly to cooperate I was scared to even ask for a refill for my nebulizer. Apparently this matter is under investigation by management , what they DO NOT understand is that I do not have ANY time to waste for the proper medications !! I was called on Saturday night to come pick up a script for the proper cough medicine ! I dragged myself out of bed , drove all the way there , and it was the WRONG medication !!! They had me check in to see the dr on calls to change the script , and needless to say Dr M was intolerable to deal with !!!! He refused to provide me with the proper medication ! These doctors fail to understand the importance of having the proper medication that helps you , as an individual !! Dr M was more concerned about the possibility of loosing his incense, if he wrote for a certain cough medication , then me god forbid ending up in the hospital !!! He did not find anything wrong with the fact that I may up in the hospital ! Matter of fact instead of writing for a simple medication 1 more time so I can get better quickly and until my specialists appointment , his suggestion was to go to the hospital !! I am sure many would agree , doctors usually do EVERYTHING they can to prevent patients from having to go to the hospital ! Well, NOT At this place !!! Also , he was very rude and sarcastic , a person you DO NOT Want to deal with , especially not feeling well . His main focus was questioning me about my job , and why a teacher would be working in the summer , IGNORANT!! What is he doing working at an urgent care, and not fullfling his legal obligation to patients?? I will NEVER return to this place , and DO NOT recommend this place to ANYONE !!!
I went in Sunday at 7:10 pm for my son. He was shivering with a fever and sore throat. I was told there was a 90120 minute wait, and that I should try going to PM Pediatrics. She told me she told another woman that and the lady left. The woman at the desk was so sure that I should go elsewhere that she actually called PM Pediatrics for me. PM Pediatrics said it was a 3060 minute wait, and with a 20+ minute drive away, I was still urged to go to elsewhere with my sick child. The woman at the reception desk told me she’s not sure why people come so late, toward closing, but that’s why the long wait. She kept asking me what we were going to do; I stood there for 10 minutes, strongly feeling like we were not wanted (urged to go elsewhere), but concerned for my sick child. Mind you, when I walked in at 7:10 pm, there were two people in the waiting room, and when I left there was one person at 7:20pm. I felt like they didn’t want me there because they close at 8pm. I felt so much pressure to leave with my sick child. When I told my sons pediatrician she was in shock that this experience happened to us, and agreed it is not a place that we should return. I’ve been many times and as convenient as it is, we will not be returning ever again. A doctors office should not turn a sick patient away because they are too busy (closing). By the way, my son has strep throat and should have been seen. There was absolutely no need, other than purely selfish reasons, for us to be urged to go somewhere else for medical care.
Just had a ridiculously frustrating experience with Dr. Kim here and want to make others aware. I arrived feeling lethargic, achy, with a headache and low-grade fever. I explained that my son had pneumonia 1.5 weeks ago and he got it from his cousin and grandfather who had it 1.5 weeks before that. I told him my symptoms were exactly the same as the way my son’s started and my son did very well on antibiotics. He proceeded to argue with me that pneumonia isn’t contagious and asked if my son (or niece or father) had gotten chest x-rays because only a chest x-ray (vs just listening to the lungs) could diagnose pneumonia. I told him they did not so he poo-pooed the claim that they even had it at all. So I asked for a chest x-ray. He tells me he doesn’t see any pneumonia on the x-ray so says it’s probably just a virus. I explained (for the 3rd time) that my symptoms were exactly the same as the other members in my family and they all did well on antibiotics. Also everything I read about pneumonia online says the incubation period is 1-2 weeks, which is exactly the time in between my son getting it from his cousin/grandfather and me getting it from him. He continued to argue with me and did not want to give me the antibiotics. He had me questioning myself so I asked for a flu test, since the symptoms of flu are similar and thought maybe I should get Tamiflu. He told me it was highly unlikely to be flu at this time of year. This went on for a while until FINALLY I promised him that if he gave me the antibiotics I wouldn’t take them unless I really stared getting worse. He ultimately gave me the script, which I filled and started immediately. Thankfully I did because, of course, today the radiologist calls and says my x-ray shows — you guessed it — pneumonia. The whole thing was so frustrating. I had a similar experience in the winter with another doctor there when I did have the flu. It’s very disappointing because the place is so convenient and never crowded (now I know why).
Beware fake reviews for this Urgent Care. I arrived with symptoms of a middle or inner ear infection and bronchitis and was prescribed ear drops typically used for an outer ear infection. Using the drops resulted in extreme ear pain and swelling which were unexpected severe side effects for which I called back as soon as possible to seek advice on what to do. The front office responded that the doctor was busy and it would take some time to call back. Thirty minutes later, I called again, and the front office informed me that the doctor told them to switch to an oral antibiotic. Then I got a call ten minutes later saying that I was allergic to the antibiotic they prescribed and they quickly changed to another! Ridiculous. After going to another doctor, I was informed neither medication was effective or appropriate for the problem and was prescribed entirely new drugs. Never had an experience this bad.As others have described, they were fast ... but so fast they completely misdiagnosed the problem, gave me the wrong medication the first time, then almost caused an allergic reaction the second. Find another urgent care.
Went here since I was having horrible inner ear pain, battling a cold and a minor cough. The doctor I saw said right off the bat I had bronchitis but nothing about my ear. After I asked he said he didn’t see anything. Two days later I went to my primary doctor and she said I had a wicked ear infection along with a sinus infection. She also said I didn’t have bronchitis. I was then prescribed the right antibiotic and feel much better! Avoid this place at all costs since it seems like the doctors have no idea what they’re doing!
