Dr. Shih recently treated our daughter during a potentially dangerous respiratory episode. Her approach to diagnosing our daughter's condition was thorough, painstaking, and time consuming. For nearly two hours, Dr. Shih and the team at New Providence pediatrics, including Dr. Moscowitz and Dr. Visci, worked through the various possibilities in attempting to diagnose the causes for our daughter's illness. Dr. Shih's demeanor was one of calm and reassurance during what was a "scary" situation. Dr. Shih went the extra yard to explain all of the possibilities of what our daughter was going through and the remedies to be used. Dr. Shih has also followed up by phone to make sure that our daughter has been progressing in her recovery and provided further advice in that regard. We highly recommend Dr. Shih and the entire team at New Providence Pediatrics including Drs. Moscowitz, Visci, and Chin for their thorough and compassionate treatment of their patients.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Shih. We have been going to Dr. Shih since our child was born, and could not be more impressed with the care she has provided our daughter. She is extremely thorough, knowledgeable, responsive and caring. As a first-time parent, lots of worry is involved. Entrusting the care of our daughter to Dr. Shih minimizes so much of the worry. From answering all or first-time parent questions to providing invaluable advice and care, we are thrilled to have her following our daughter's development.

We have been lucky enough to see Dr. Shih from the time our daughter was first born. Since day one, we have been extraordinarily impressed with the care she has provided. She is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, responsive and caring. She is genuinely interested in the development of our child, and is always happy to answer our first-time parent questions.

Doctor Shih is an amazing and beautiful doctor and woman inside and out.She has compassion and cares very much for her patients. I personally have been going through a lot between wanting my son to be OK.And my health which is not the greatest, feelings of guilt and helplessness. She actually took the time and prayed with me and I think about that everyday. I strongly recommend that any parents who are looking for a pediatrician in NEW Providence, to go to Doctor Shih ,your child will be safe.
