Dr. Spano-Brennan has gone above and beyond to try to figure out why my blood pressure is high without trying to prescribe lots of drugs to get it under control. She is compassionate about the fact that I am trying not to take a lot of medication and has spent time explaining how the meds work to me. Highly recommend her!

Good doctor. Staffing and scheduling could be improved.

Was referred by my GP but couldn’t get appt for about 6 months. When it finally came around, doc had an emergency that day and the next available appt was 6 weeks later. Office then called 3x to keep moving the appt earlier in the day—ended up with a 7:30am appt time, which is a little nuts but I accepted it. Just heard that they need to reschedule me again, for 8 weeks later. Called the office to ask why and they rudely said that the doctors schedule had changed. No apology or anything. When I expressed frustration, receptionist got ruder and told me she’d need to speak to the doc about “fitting me in” like I was the one who created the issue. I told them not to bother and hung up. Then got a call back saying that the doc could see me but only if I could come in first thing the next day. No thanks. If you are looking for a cardiologist who thinks your time is equally valuable, I’d avoid this one.

Dr Spano is such a caring Dr who explains everything so you can understand. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is having problems with AFib she certainly has helped me.

Maybe Dr. Spano had an off day, but that was my first appointment with her. I did not feel she had the caring bedside manner nor took the time to really walkthrough alternative medication options based on my current health and needs.

Dr Spano is excellent. She is caring knowledgeable and patient. Quite honestly shocked that someone only gave her 4 stars . Clearly she is a 5 star candidate. Her gentle demeanor and compassion is obvious. Dr Spano is a dedicated Cardiologist.

She is an like an artist when it comes to talking with the patient. She draws you into her understanding of your problem and how she is going to manage the situation. She has literally drawn my heart and explained what it is that I have and how to repair the problem if I need it . Again her art work in medicine and understanding is to be seen. Great doctor, We the Crespo family which by the way are also artists in music and arts thank you Doc. A picture is worth a thousand words. Amen.

Dr Spano is fantastic about explaining exactly what is going on with your heart and shares her rationale for prescribing medication and/or tests, interpreting results, risk factors etc. She takes the time to listen to questions, and seems to have a very good rapport with her patients. Highly Recommended!!!
