Dr. Gurey was excellent. Not only was he polite but he took the time to explain things to me. In addition to this, he had tremendous patience dealing with me. I have serious anxiety when it comes to doctor visits. Dr. Gurey made everything a breeze. I was called in 2 minutes before my appointment which is very rare at any doctor office. His entire staff, including Connie was polite and helpful.

I am a person with Parkinson's Disease (PD). For years I knew something was not right. I tried quite a few doctors over this period. Then I was fortunate enough to have an ENT appointment with Dr. Gurey. He suspected that I had PD. He gently suggested that I visit a neurologist. I did not know what a neurologist was, so I did not visit one. The following year at my annual appt. with Dr. Gurey, he asked me if I visited with a neurologist. I told him I had not. Well he was visibly concerned. He immediately took me out to his support staff and directed them to make an appt. for me to see a neurologist. It turned out that his suspicions were borne out. I did have PD and lost a year that I should have been battling it. Dr. Gurey is one of my favorite doctors. He is warm and caring, considerate, and genuinely cares about those who are in his care. I recommend him highly.

My husband was treated by Dr. Gurey for scar tissue on his vocal chords. He was very gentle, patient, and explained everything clearly. The outpatient surgical procedure to treat my husband's condition was successful and Dr. Gurey called my husband at home the same afternoon to check his status. We are both very pleased with the outcome and would gladly refer others to Dr. Gurey.

My husband was recently treated by Dr. Gurey for a vocal chord issue that required out-patient surgery. Thankfully, the surgery was a success. We found Dr. very kind, patient and explained everything carefully. He phoned my husband at home following the surgery to make sure he was well. We would gladly refer other to Dr. Gurey.

I went to Dr. Gurey several years ago for a severe sinus infection. At the time he was the only ENT at Summit Medical Group with a convenient time available for me. The first visit was very matter-of-fact but as time went on I found him to be very thorough and empathetic. Ultimately he referred my to a new ENT at SMG who focuses on sinuses. It was an excellent referral., but I was sorry to leave Dr. Gurey. Most recently my husband is going to Dr. Gurey for a throat issue. My opinion of him hasn't changed and recommend him to anyone seeking a throat specialist.

Very expensive treatment and tests with no result. Not happy ☹️

This Doctor is a very knowledgeable and direct. I had few appointments in his office. His detail explanation help me better understand my problems. T.Z. in NJ

Being a healthcare provider myself, i am well-aware of how to care for patients. First visit, Dr. Gurey was very professional and direct; no sugar coating but serious. Some may interpret his actions as cold and uncaring. 2nd, 3rd visits, he was extremely supportive and communicative, very attentive. My surgery (vocal cords) was performed as he described, as well as the expected recovery. Today is my 1st day of recovery. He has personally contacted me 4 times. Recommend highly!!!
