They've now moved to Bloomfield! The eyes are the window to the soul.. make sure your soul doesn't have glaucoma!Doctor Vogel and his team are awesome and make for a great experience! The hardest part for me is the masks and that's not their fault, obviously. Great staff and very clean and sanitized new location. The doctor has been in this field for decades and is even making it a family business. I can't say enough for bedside manor - it's hard to come by, but they've got it! Absolutely recommend this practice and I'm so happy I stumbled in!

Dr. Vogel is an OUTSTANDING vision specialist and doctor in EVERY sense of the word. I have many complicated autoimmune related issues that make treating me time consuming and problematic. Rare genetic issues have arisen that only the careful watch of Dr. Vogel has brought to light, by referring me to many of his very qualified associates and connections at other hospitals. Dr. Vogel has saved not only MY vision, but the FUTURE vision of MY FAMILY members, who he has kindly referred to colleagues in various states with whom he is affiliated. I was unaware of genetic eye disease! Dr. Vogel has a gentle kindness that puts even the most alarming news about your health safely at rest in his competent hands. After YEARS of traveling to what were considered the BEST institutes in the world, it seems I didn’t have to travel more than forty minutes down the highway!

I had cataract surgery on both eyes. I went Great. I was so worried about the process. But Dr. Vogel and his staff made me so comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. Vogel if you any problems with your eyes. My husband and I are both patients of Dr. Vogel's For Life. The Staff is also very professional and caring.

I need more availabilituy to discuss my situation over computer rather than office

I know someone who had extremely poor vision into their 40s. Thick glasses and no hope of ever seeing clearly. Well that is no longer the case. Surprised to see him without the weight of his glasses I had no shame in asking what happened and who was his doctor because as far as I was concerned whoever he was he had certainly performed a miracle. He went on to tell me that not only had his vision been repaired but so had his brother's which is how he found Dr. Vogel. Needless to say, Michell Vogel is now my doctor.

Rude staff that does not speak english well enough to make someone an appointment. Im sure Mitchell is a great doctor. He should probably hire some receptionists that can help the english speaking population via phone as well.

Tests with lights on. Rushes for surgery. Self absorbed

There is no privacy in his office. When I was being examined, the door was wide open, very unprofessional, and all of his employees were coming in and out the room as they pleased. When my daughter had stated to the doctor that this behavior was unprofessional he just replied with cold remark.

Very knowledgeable. Excellent bedside manner. He does general ophthalmology, but he tries to focus his practice on corneas as a sub-specialty. His staff is kind, but they sometimes seem rushed, however, Dr. Vogel always takes all the time you need, answering all questions and thoroughly explaining procedures. I've had a corneal condition for several years now, which surgery could correct, but he isn't rushing me into surgery, indicating that my condition could still improve on its own. I like the fact that he's not one of these doctors that thinks surgery is the only answer, provided there are other alternatives worth trying first.
