List of Naresh G. Rana's Reviews
I can't say enough good things honestly, wow such an amazing doctor. He listens, does not rush you, incredible bedside manners whether it is a video visit or in person.
He has been my doctor since I came to this country over a decade ago. He is very caring and understanding, his staff is so loving and patient
I am so disappointed in this establishment. I relocated to New Jersey about a year ago due to my husband being a U.S. Marine. Since there is not a base near by, I had to locate a PCM out in town. I read a few reviews online about Dr. Rana and was eager to schedule an appointment . My first visit to his office was quite pleasant. He was knowledgeable about my issues and I left very satisfied. However, today’s experience with this office was horrendous. I called in to see if I could get a referral to go see a dermatologist. The receptionists’ at the front desk were extremely rude. First, they were ignorant to how to process my request from the beginning. You would think that a doctor’s office would be educated on the channels to follow to get a referral done; however, that was definitely not the case in this situation. The dermatologist that I was trying to see informed me that my PCM would have to do a referral through my insurance company. I expressed this information to Dr. Rana’s receptionists’ and they told me that their policy was to send referrals and prescriptions straight to the dermatology office. After being fed up with the run around, I contacted my insurance company (Tri-care) to get some clarification on the referral process. The insurance agent stated the same information that the dermatologist did. I called back to Dr. Rana’s office and gave them the information that was giving to me by Tri-care. The rude receptionist put me on hold without even telling me. She returned to the phone with an attitude saying that she couldn’t execute my request because they don’t have my Tri-care insurance card. I informed her that all my insurance information is on my military ID, which was given to them during my last visit. She constantly tried to tell me that they didn’t have any of my insurance information on file. However, in Tri-care’s system it is stated that my PCM is Dr. Rana and that they were billed for my last visit to his office. The receptionists’ at this office are incompetent and lazy. Instead of educating themselves on how referrals work when dealing with the military, they would rather lie to keep from doing their jobs. Their communication skills are at a level one. I would never refer any of my fellow military spouses to the sorry excuse of doctors office. Changing my PCM today!
Dr. Rana is a caring, nurturing doctor. I’ve always had these feelings but he proved it once again when he, during such a busy time of COVID, returned my call and did a video conference with me when I was having issues with my asthma and couldn’t breathe. He took the time to diligently find out what was wrong with me and when suggesting what to prescribe, took into consideration what certain prescriptions would be costly and making sure he ordered something (very similar but less costly) in its place just in case! Just a stand up guy, healthcare worker and physician. I’m not as close to his office anymore so I was considering changing doctors but after today, will never think of it again! Finally! I found a caring physician that I know will always look out for me and my best interests! Thank you Dr. Rana!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR RELIABLE CARE YEAR AFTER YEAR. THE GUIDANCE YOU HAVE GIVEN ME REGARDING MY HEALTH HAS PROVED TO KEEP ME HEALTHY. THANK YOU FOR ANSWERING ALL MY QUESTIONS. DR NARESH RANA IS AN AMAZING PHYSICIAN WHO HAS IMPECCABLE BEDSIDE MANNER. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM TO ALL MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
Dr Rana and his staff are simply amazing. I have been going to him for 7 years and he is always available, answers all of your questions and is very thorough. Hard to find doctors like this. Thank you for always being so professional.
Dr. Rana has been my doctor for many years. He is attentive, takes careful notes, and concludes each visit with a recap in his office. The latter is an especially nice touch for a medical professional as you feel addressed and respected as an individual. I have called Dr. Rana when sick with minor, as well as more serious issues, and was able to schedule an appointment within a reasonable time frame, often the same-day for more urgent matters. Fortunately, the wait was never very long. I trust him and have recommended him.
I am new to Dr. Rana and I saw him about 3 months ago and am in constant contact with him and his staff due to the fact I have surgery coming up. He was very attentive and from the minute I walked in the door his whole staff where very kind and accommodating to my needs and questions. He referred me to a few places hematologist and dermatologist and his staff were very helpful to get me the right references that was needed. My insurance requires 2 different references but they were more than willing to help. My check up was probably the best I had in a few years he speaks and listens to you and I did not feel rushed as I felt in other office that I have been in the past. Thank you for the attention
Professional and knowledgeable doctor
I wish I could give 0 stars. We had an appointment through their online appointment system and verified all the insurance information and took a soft copy of the insurance. When we showed up at the appointment they demanded a hard copy and the lady at the counter was very rude. I would suggest people to find another family doctor if you could as there is no reason to get treated that way when you are their customers

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
