First time at the Retina Center of NJ today based on a recommendation from my daughter. I found Dr. Higgins to be a very knowledgeable and extremely personable professional. His “chair side” manner is friendly and assuring. He told me what he was doing during each step of my exam and procedure as well as all of the required necessary follow-up care. The Teaneck office is a well run “machine” with all of the friendly staff knowing their jobs and keeping everything moving along smoothly in a very busy medical atmosphere.

All the employees were very professional. Dr. Higgins is excellent, caring and extremely knowledgeable. He makes sure the appropriate tests are done so he can treat your eyes and keep them healthy.

Dr. Higgins is a knowledgeable and calming professional who explains the findings of his exam in an understandable way. He reduces my anxiety regarding my vision and makes me feel that he has genuine concern for my eye health. Although the office is often busy, it runs smoothly and he is worth the wait.
