Had Prostate surgery Dr.Berkman explained everything very pleased with outcome.I think the wait in waiting room is worth the results

Had prostate surgery by Dr. Berkman four years ago (March 2016). Prior to the surgery, he detailed all my options before deciding on surgery. My cancer had progressed outside of the prostate, so he strongly advised me to also get radiation treatment. My PSA has been consistently 0 on all follow up visits. I have a lot of confidence in Dr. Berkman and would recommend him to anybody looking for a good surgeon.

Dr. Berkman, has been my physician for several years now and has always provided the absolute best care, best advice, and treatment.Despite the circumstances, this was the best experience I have had with a doctor in a long time. Dr. Berkman went above and beyond to make me feel like I was the only patient there.Prior to my prostate surgery, Dr. Berkman thoroughly explained to me and my wife what would happen during the surgery. He was also very helpful with answering any questions I had. We heard from some people who had this surgery that there may be some complications but there were none in our case.Dr. Berkman was very friendly, thorough, and empathetic through the process and listened to all of our concerns.If you are looking for a doctor who has vast medical and surgical knowledge in urology, treats you as a whole person, and takes the time to care for you, Dr. Berkman is the doctor for you.

I left him after a few visits, he refuses to keep his appointments under a 2, 3, 4 and 5 hour wait time, and he is certainly not worth that kind of wait. He is arrogant and unapologetic to you sitting in the waiting room for hours to see him whether it be the very first appointment or the last, and even for just a test result consultation, he is the worst ever. He does not deserve a one star.

I have been with Dr. Berkman for several years. He is an excellent physician who cares about medicine and is always thorough and precise with his diagnosis and treatments. I feel I am lucky to have him as my Urologist.It's a shame that some seemingly angry people give a 1 star rating simply because they had to wait too long in the waiting room. Sometimes he'll see me within 15 minutes and on the rarer occasion it can be 30-45 minutes. But it is my health in the balance and I will certainly wait patiently for him as I know he'll give me the time I need just as he is doing with the patients that precede me.
