List of Jeffrey J. Kaladas's Reviews
I am writing this review to share my experience with my primary care doctor, who I have been seeing for the past 3-4 years. My intention is not to complain, but rather to inform others about the shortcomings I have encountered in the hope that they can make more informed decisions when choosing a healthcare provider. One of the major issues I have faced is Dr. Kaladas's tendency to prescribe medications without thoroughly evaluating my symptoms or considering potential side effects. For example, when I've mentioned symptoms that feel like possible bronchitis, I was prescribed steroid medication without my doctor listening to my heart or asking about my symptoms. He just assumed I was right and immediately started treating me for it without questioning more. This pattern has continued across various ailments, often resulting in prescriptions that don't address the root of the problem. Recently, my doctor prescribed a medication and when I asked about its side effects, the team told me to Google it. Upon researching, I discovered that the medication could potentially exacerbate pre-existing conditions I have, such as heartburn, anxiety, high blood pressure, and heart issues—all of which my doctor was aware of. I decided to take matters into my own hands and not take the medication. Throughout my time as a patient, I found that Dr. Kaladas prioritized checking me off his list rather than adopting a holistic approach to my health. For example, during my heart issue ordeal, we never discussed the importance of diet and exercise. Additionally, I was prescribed an ultrasound that didn't even scan the organ in question. When I tried to address this issue, I ended up in collections because the office refused to take responsibility and schedule a new scan without charging me for both. In conclusion, my experience (again, over 3-4 years; not just a one-off occurrence) with this primary care doctor has been disappointing and frustrating. I believe patients deserve a healthcare provider who takes the time to listen to their concerns, thoroughly assess their symptoms, and provide well-rounded care that considers their overall well-being. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this doctor, and I encourage others to seek out a medical professional who prioritizes patient needs and genuinely cares about their long-term health.
Dr K is the best! He listens, asks questions, makes sure you understand, and makes you feel comfortable. He is a one man show, so sometimes there can be a wait, however I have come to appreciate that this is because a good doctor takes the time he needs with each patient.
Great old-timey doctor (hope he doesn't take offense to that) who actually listens. Sorry I moved away from there because I'm going to have to find someone like him and I don't think it's that easy any more.
The wait time to see him was longer than his assessment. Not attentive to comcerns that were expressed. Superceded an orthopedic surgeon note to be excused from work only after 2 months of recovery from shoulder surgery. Definitely wouldn't recommend!
Absolutely do not go see this man. If you are considering going read this. This man is literally now avoiding me and will not take my calls. In March I came to him and told him I was on anxiety medication but that I was trying to get pregnant soon. He told me my current medication was not safe and then put me on a different med. When I then became pregnant and called for a refill, he told me he had to consult with my OBGYN about its safety. This man put me on this medication in order to be taking a safe medication during my pregnancy. He then proceeded to call my OB and told me it was not safe, while I AM ALREADY 5 WEEKS PREGNANT. He then refused to speak to me an hour later and instead used his nurse to be the messenger back and forth between him, myself, and my husband. To sum this up, he put me on a medication before I became pregnant and then told me WHEN I WAS ALREADY PREGNANT that I should not be taking this during pregnancy. Never mind the fact that he is dodging my phone calls because he knows he is in the wrong.
First doctor I've ever been to who takes my concerns, wishes, suggestions, beliefs, and feelings not only into consideration, but also into my care. A very good listener and a caring person. Not only is he patient, but he will also do what other doctors won't do. He will answer your questions with all the detail you desire.
Dr. Kaladas is one of the best physicians to listen, troubleshoot, and identify root cause to symptoms which leads to the right diagnosis. Excellent staff with high level of professionalism and empathy. Vera Gibson
I have been a patient of Dr. Kaladas for a few years now. I wish I found his office sooner. I usually feel stressed out at doctor visits because all my other doctors make me feel rushed. Some doctors I've seen, rush me out the door within 5 minutes and visibly show annoyance when I ask questions because they need me to leave so they can see their next patient. But not with Dr. Kaladas... if you have any questions he will take the time to explain it to you and listen to all of your concerns. Even though he is very busy, I've only had to wait a few minutes, and I know its because he is giving the time that his patient needs, just like he does with me.
I am surprised there aren't more actual written reviews! Dr. Kaladas is literally the first doctor I'vc ever had where I didn't feel rushed, and was given the concern and attention I needed. From regular physical checkups to appointments regarding some serious conditions I have, he is so patient with explaining things. I'm so used to being rushed out the door by all my other doctors I was shocked when he would take extra time with me, for example to ask about family members that he remembered from were terminally ill. Even though he is very busy, he is the best. I've never had to wait more than a few minutes for appointments. I have anxiety with seeing doctors so I wish all of my doctors had his bedside manner because then I would be less stressed at appointments.
Excellent physician, though exam. Very friendly staff.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
