Absolutely the best place I have ever been to. The dentist makes you so comfortable and the rest of the staff is so polite. If I could give 10 stars I would! I recommend everyone to get your teeth work done here!
This place is a disgrace. My 19yr. Old daughter was left in a waiting room for over 2hrs. Staff would walk pass the room and not even ask if she neededed or inform her on why she was waiting so long. After she complained, Dr. Testa came in with a attitude and didn't even try to resolve the situation. He told her she's very moody and perhaps she needs a boyfriend to satisfy her. My daughter got upset, gave him some words and they banned her from coming to any Encore Dentals. The staff overheard his rude and sexist comments and they laughed. PATIENTS BEWARE. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
I had my first visit there today and my oral hygiene wasn't exactly up to par. Jacqueline was my hygienist and she was really patient with me and did a phenomenal job!!! The staff there was great!! Thanks Jacqueline and Dr.Scott
Bad dentist 😞I went to them today, and they did not provide me with any service except for an x-ray, and the doctor told me that I needed to go to a center to extract a molar to avoid the growth and swelling of the lower left jaw and the difficulty of swallowing saliva. And all the centers or hospitals rejected my request because this center did not contact them and left the matter recklessly and refused to give me any antibiotic or medicine to relieve the pain, and in the end they took 70 dollars for the examination. And my miseries did not end
I used to come here until my last appointment. I was supposed to get a filling appointment. I called 8 times and everytime someone answered, I was asked to provide my insurance subscriber number. No one had saved my information in the system no matter how many times I was asked.This went on for 6 months. The people who answered would say, I will give you a call back to schedule an appointment once they confirm with my insurance. I would give them at least 3 weeks, then I would call again to check on the status and no one had any idea. I never got a call back, I never got an apology, I actually liked the dentist and hygienists are excellent. The front desk made it hard for me to come back therefore I switched doctors.
I have been a patient at Encore Dental Brick N.J. for the past few years now. I am 68 years old and I just wanted to say that Dr. Testa and Dr. Bill are two of the best dentist I have ever had. They are wonderful to talk with and have done magnificent work on my teeth. The staff is also great. I would highly recommend Encore Dental to anyone looking for a professional dental practice.
Encore Dental in Brick, NJ on Drumpoint Rd. has a very inefficient staff.Although Dr. Ryan is an excellent dentist, it is difficult for me to keep coping with the lack of follow through on insurance claims. Apparently there is no process to follow up on insurance claims. I visited Dec. 1ST, 2021, a claim was submitted Dec. 3, 2021. By Dec. 21 there was no word from Encore Dental---I was told to contact the insurance company which I did. I was told the claim was approved, by Jan. 3, 2022 there was still no word from Encore & I continued to suffer with a toothache!!!! I called the insurance company on JANUARY 3, 2022 and was told that the insurance company sent the approval to ENCORE on Dec. 10.....24 days of a needless toothache!!!! Encore admitted the claim WAS RECEIVED BUT WE ARE A BIG COMPANY AND THINGS HAPPEN. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME ENCORE DID NOT FOLLOW THROUGH ON AN INSURANCE CLAIM AND CONTACT MEABOUT APPROVED SERVICES!!!! So if you become a client prepare to WAIT for approvals because THEY ARE A BIG COMPANY AND THINGS HAPPEN(OR DON'T HAPPEN FOR THE CLIENT).PATRICIA FRANK
How did practices that are supposed to show respect for the patient fall so low. I sw answering service, explained urgency of my need for appointment. They never even called me back.

I've been going to this location for a few years. I waited 6 months for a cleaning appointment as I go for cleanings every 6 months. I was away the week before my next cleaning appointment when I received confirmation calls/voicemails that I was unaware of. I worked a very busy Monday at my job and received a voicemail that I listened to after work. Since I did not confirm my appointment in time (for the very next day, Tuesday), my appointment was taken out of their system and was informed another appointment would not be available for another 5 months. Do yourself a favor and do not go to Encore Dental. You will be treated as a number and not a regular patient.***UPDATE***Response to owners response:Your staff had the opportunity to rectify this situation when I called back less than 2 hours after receiving the voice-mail that my appointment had already been canceled. They decided to inform me that I would have to wait an additional 5 months for a new appointment. So no, I will not be calling you back with any concerns or future appointments. I will find a dentist office who will treat me like a human being and patient. Also, you might want to inform your patients of this "new policy." Had I known that, I would have confirmed this appointment months ago as I never miss a cleaning! Good riddance!
