Dr Brottman performed cataract surgery on both eyes. I was extremely pleased with the results!

Dr. B did my cataract surgery 4 yrs ago. My vision is now excellent, BUT there were problems. I had a very adverse reaction to the anesthesia prior to surgery. The anesthesiologist did not stick around long enough to see my reaction. As a result of the surgery & perhaps of the anesthesia & the speculum used, I was left with ptosis. I mentioned this to Dr B at each post-op visit but he claimed he never heard of eyelid problems from surgery. Any opthal Dr knows abt ptosis. He gave no help at all.

This Physician is too busy to return calls or even respond to letters regarding your condition.

Customer service at the Freehold Office is horrible. They have no idea how to deal with customers. They are rude and do not care about customers. Randy is the worst out of all of them there and not suitable for the position to work with people. Doctors in that office do not care ether. I had to come to the office and see the doctors twice, the prescription was very strong, they would not change it or help me with my concerns. I had to visit another doctor's office for a second opinion and sure enough the prescription was incorrect. I would not recommend this place to anybody!

This so called doctor refused to see my daughter at the time of emergency. He said he "does not feel comfortable treating her problem". I am going to report him to NJ state department of health services. I have never even heard of any doctor acting like this.

Good Dr. Brief, to the point. No excessive chatting. Good diagnostician. Explains well.

My wife and I have been visiting Millennium in Brick for several years. We have always been treated by a very competent and courteous staff. Debbie at the front desk, Valerie in charge of eyewear, and of course, Doctor Brottman.

The front desk is not exactly warm and fuzzy,but overall good and very knowledeable.I never felt rushed,I had many questions and he never once got annoyed.It was a Saturday and as I was leaving,I could hear the office buzzing about it was 2:10 and they were mad that he took his time with me.

I was on the gurney all prepped for cataract surgery, cleared by my primary, when the anesthesiologist (who had had a least a week to review my records)decided he had a question about something and canceled the surgery pending the answering of the question. Dr. Brottman who was in the next room, (about 15' away) and presumably ready for me didn't bother to come over and tell me himself what had happened. Atrocious behavior. I found another doc, had the surgery, and never heard from Brottman again. I wrote a letter of complaint to the director of Millenium. He never answered. The surgical center was gloomy and its waiting room was far from clean. STEER CLEAR of Brottman and Millenium surgical center if decent behavior is important to you.
