List of Mutahir A. Abidi's Reviews
Let me start by saying that this office does not use Epic, so they don't have access to most patient's existing information. Because of this, I had to print out numerous pages of all my test results, which the doctor himself barely glanced at during the visit. The nurse practitioner who took my information and put it into their system was great. She was patient and attentive, as I had a lot of information to give her since they don't use the same EMR as my other providers. She listened to me and asked follow-up questions to my symptoms. The doctor himself was another story. He was in the room for all of five minutes and was dismissive of me due to my age. He also made assumptions based on my current medical history - suggesting that I might have a disorder that is a common comorbidity of something that I already have, although I have NO symptoms of this disorder. He said he was ordering bloodwork to test me for "a full panel of autoimmune diseases." He ran 4 tests total, and no one from the office ever called me with the results. Thankfully, I got them drawn somewhere that uses Epic and had access to them myself to share with my PCP and other specialists on board. I waited months to get an appointment here, drove 45 minutes to the office, and was not at all satisfied with the level of care.
The nurse practitioner was wonderful, attentive, and caring which is the only reason for any stars. The doctor didn’t step foot into the room or speak to me once. I don’t recommend getting blood tested here either, both women taking blood had huge difficulty on finding veins on myself and another patient. I had to leave after she had already stuck a needle in my arm, took it out, and asked to try my hand instead. I was panicked and feeling so light headed after that I told her I’d just take the test another day. I was then sent off with my lab order despite just telling her I was light headed and dizzy.
never would go back to this dr.
Look for someone who actually cares.
If I could give this doctor negative stars I would. My experience with this practice and Dr Abidi was horrible. I do realize that doctors cannot possibly know everything about every patient they see, but that is why we have EMR. My specific situation required me to be in the office every four weeks so I was in more frequently than most. Every visit he asked me the same questions… if I was still on a certain medication and every time I said no Im not on that medication and I’ve never been on that medication. Please look at my chart! Like groundhog day I would need to go over my entire medical situation and remind him what medication I was on, especially my concerns about certain meds as he never documented anything. The day before my last appointment I called to let them know I would not be taking certain meds anymore and the office advised me to come in anyway to discuss my options with the doctor. I agreed and when I came in, they told me they were ready to administer the medication I just called the day before to discontinue. This was the final straw and confirmation that no one knows what is going on there, especially the doctor. I explained my frustrations with Dr Abidi and how I was not confident in the care I was receiving. I made the decision to seek out another rheumatologist and I am so glad I did. To further confirm I made the right decision I went to refill a script from my new rheumatologist and I was unable to. After speaking with the pharmacy, Dr Abidi cancelled my new script from my new doctor, a medication he has never prescribed to me! I could not need more proof that this practice operates in such a dysfunctional manner.
Clean office. Nice staff Kind and knowledgeable
He takes the time to listen to your concerns. He explains the procedures thoroughly before and during the procedure. He is kind compassionate and caring
Dr Abidi is an amazing doctor. He is knowledgeable and so nice he always puts his patients first. He answered all my questions and felt so much better after all my questions were answered. I will definitely make him my new Rheumatologist going forward.
Dr ABIDI is the most compassionate, caring and kind Dr.’s I know. He’s more than 5 Stars… he’s simply a “Find!”
Best Dr and Staff Ever.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
