Not going back. After 2 visits I've had enough. I'll either continue to suffer or maybe find another doctor. The hoops you have to jump through are ridiculous. Idk if it's state requirements or what, but it's a real struggle to get a much needed Rx. The doctor, in conjunction with the pharmacy, makes it so difficult. I get prescribed 15 pain pills, which is fine, but then I only get 5 at a time from the pharmacy. Ok, whatever. After a couple weeks I try to get another 5 or the rest of my Rx and it's cancelled. Doctor does not know why and suggests I speak to pharmacy. Meanwhile, I can't get any refills until I book an office visit which costs me 2 hours of my life waiting in the exam room. The entire system is insane. I understand people get addicted and these are preventative measures, but for those that just need occasional pain relief it's just too many hoops.
I was a patient of Dr. Freeman for several years before moving out of state. I always appreciated his attentiveness, professionalism, and expertise during that time, but now that I have moved and have been searching for a pain specialist down here, I have found that he and his office are one of a kind! He doesn't merely prescribe medication. Rather, the goal is to work to manage pain and to improve lifestyle in a way that helps the patient eventually reduce and later eliminate the need for medication. From the office employees like Lisa, to the office manager John, to the Dr. Freeman... 5 stars all the way! Thank you so much for everything you have done for me!
The staff is extremely friendly. Especially Lisa. I find Dr Freeman very eager to help. He’s a great listener. Highly intelligent. I’ve learned so much from him. He’s empathetic to your needs. I’ve found the right office from my first office. What a relief.
If you make an appt for after work, you will be pressured by calls and texts all day to come earlier while at your job. Never looked at the MRI (dangerous) until requested again before procedure. Threatened by the referring Dr’s thoughts on diagnosis, or yours. Any question is a direct challenge of authority. Will literally question your intellect if you aren’t aware of his plan for you (that doesn’t exist) that he reads as notes to himself. Irate if he has to explain anything. Is timing you. Unfortunately seems to be licensed to do many things to help people in pain, but so blinded by anger and ego is unable to even communicate. Appointments are a waste of time and you are left with negative baggage while you waited to be seen or heard in pain.
Been going to the doctor for over a year and each time it’s worse than the last and this time was the last straw. His office schedules you for a procedure and then during the visit he doesn’t meet with you before or after the procedure, doesn’t tell you what to expect and is annoyed if you request to speak with him after the procedure. I got an mri but he never looked at it and anytime we talk about my condition he mentions if he had the mri in front of him he could better explain… so go look at the mri! I called his office 3x to speak with him about my prognosis and options. I never received a call back so I came in one day to speak with him directly. The next time I saw him he had the nerve to chide me for interrupting his personal time with a friend… I wouldn’t have done that if he called me back! (He also had no idea who I was when I came in even after I explained my entire situation and all the treatments he can performed on me)
I was completely disappointed with the Office. It seems like a money grab at this point. I call for an appointment for gel shots in my knee which is arthritic. It was a year since my last visit. OK, so I have to have a tele-med visit, so PA can then write me an XRay script and mail it to me. I have the XRays done and call for an appt. I'm told I week to see Dr Ted. The day before i get a text that it is another tele-med with the PA. I said no I need an office visit to have my knee drained and get a cortizone shot and have them order the gel shots. They say OK you can come in. I am put in a room and the PA takes the visit. I ask if I am seeing the Dr next and she says "oh no the Dr cant see you today. Go to the front desk and book an appt. I go to the desk and the next available date is Sept 13th. Time to find a new doctor.
The worst doctor and staff!!! Total confusion and lack of professionalism. Don’t waste your time!!
I have suffered with back pain most my life. After seeing other doctors who did absolutely nothing to help me except order therapy, which I tried several times with no benefit. I was in terrable pain and Doctor Freeman helped relieve my pain right away. I will continue to see him, and reccomend him.
I Highly recommend Dr. Ted Freeman.Totally dedicated to his patients and profession. He listens carefully, reads your paperwork, tells you why you may be having your pain, orders more things, etc.goes over options and Asks You what options you would like try.Very caring,he goes that extra step to help get you back your quality of life.He staff is wonderful too. They answer any questions and put you at ease. I Highly Recommend Dr. Ted Freeman before going Anywhere Else!!! 5 stars all the way around ?? Very understanding Dr. I can't thank Dr. Freeman enough!
After reading mixed reviews on Yelp and Vitals, I had doubts about calling this doctor. While I was debating, Dr. Freeman's office called me because they were informed that I had been referred to them. This was my first positive impression. I made an appointment which was two weeks away, but was the first available appointment. Two days later, I received a call from Lisa that they had a cancellation in a couple of days and asked if I wanted the appointment. I said "absolutely". This was my 2nd positive impression. As soon as I walked into their office, I was greeted by "hellos" from the front desk staff. They were all very warm and friendly. Then I met Jon, the Manager. He took me back into an office and went over my paperwork. He asked me a few questions and said that Dr. Freeman would be in shortly. I found Dr. Freeman to be very thorough, knowledgeable, and completely focused on the location of my pain. He suggested further blood work to see if I have an infection in the area of the pain and also gave me a script for an MRI of the pelvis. He is the first doctor to address the correct area. All the other doctors only sent me for MRI's of the thoracic and lumbar areas. He also gave me a script for pan medication after administering a drug test. I am very, very excited about the upcoming results and my follow up appointment with Dr. Freeman. I really believe he will be the one and only doctor who will be able to help me. Also, the office environment is very relaxing and zen like. If you are suffering from pain that is dibilitating, please give Dr. Freeman a chance to help you.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
