He's an incredible physician. My breathing was getting worse and my regular doctor wouldn't see me for a month. Dr. Patel's office got me seen on an urgent referral. He took the time to listen, examined me in detailed and diagnosed the problem accurately and started treatment right away. I'm feeling great now thanks to his expertise.

He saved my leg. I couldn't move my leg and the ER doctor told me that it could need to be cut off but Dr. Patel was able to get the blood flowing to it again and I was able to walk out of the hospital.

He is very unprofessional. He does not communicate with the patient or family regarding the results of a procedure. My husband had a heart cath yesterday and we still haven't received an update from the doctor. We only know what the tech told us, that he received a stint and had to stay over night and all other information was above his pay grade. We were told numerous times by nurses to keep my cell phone turned up because he would be calling me. I finally called his office this morning and he's not working today. My husband is stuck in the hospital waiting and wondering if he'll be discharged today. We are beyond frustrated. I would not recommending using him if you want to be informed about your care! I was told my a close family member that when they were waiting for a procedure and the doctor was over an hour late was because he was in his office playing video games! Beyond ridiculous!

Great Cardiologist! I had a heart valve problem and Dr. Patel replaced my valve and now I'm feeling better than I have in years! I feel like I could go for another 20 years.

Dr. Patel is very thorough and patient. He explained all of complex heart problems in language that me and my family could easily understand. He came to see me when I was admitted to the hospital on a day he was off. He had compassionate bedside manners and sat on my bed and explained everything clearly. Great cardiologist.

Amazing cardiologist! I had a severe cardiomyopathy which is weaking of my heart muscle which was getting worse. My previous cardiologist did not pick up on the fact that I had also left bundle branch block. Dr. Patel immediately diagnosed it and upgraded my defibrillator and now my heart function is near normal and I feel great!

Would never recommend him. He is not personable, does not like face to face discussions and does not leave patient or care giver with a warm and fuzzy. Most St Francis physicians are top notch; this one definitely falls in the lower rating and definitely in the bottom 5 percent.

was refered by family practice doc. Patel set me up with $10k of heart test ... everythng was normal.. has to be a a more cost effective tests .?
