Dr Gleason did breast surgery on me on 2/4/22 .From start to finish she is very professional, caring and competent. She is upfront about your cancer and educates you on the type of breast cancer you have & how it with need to be treated, while at the same time has a very positive upbeat personally that helps you through the journey. She has a real passion for what she does and is extremely knowledgeable - when you are under her care you know you are with one of the best! Knowing for the first time that you have cancer creates an extreme amount of anxiety and it is so important to have someone like dr Gleason as your surgeon.

I have tried to leave a negative review on her repeatedly. she must have a great filter. she did a biopsy in the wrong spot, bruised my breast mercilessly. she seemed satisfied with the fact that the. biopsy in the wrong spot that came up negative closed the case. the issue was at 10:00 on my breast as noted on her paperwork. the biopsy was done at 1:00. she had no interest in doing another biopsy in the spot that was the original problem and the reason for the biopsyl

Absolutely the very best in breast care! Over the years I have used Dr.Gleason for multiple breast procedures and I have received the best care. . . I have gotten second opinions in NYC and other breast centers in NJ but they were not listening to my concerns. Dr. Gleason and her staff took the time to explain every diagnostic test, procedure and surgery as well as listening and comforting me every step of the way.

She was the surgeon for my breast cancer in 2008. She is a very caring and thoughtful doctor. I would not go to anyone else for my breast care.

she invaded lymph nodes in breast cancer surgery. now have swelling on breast area, left arm left back from lymphedema. swelling near heart is worrisome

I had a core needle biopsy which was presented as no big deal. The discharge instructions said possible tenderness the next day. Not expecting nor was I expecting a big deal, I returned to work the next day. Unfortunately I felt like I had been hit by a bus. Also need to return to Dr. Gleason's office the next morning because although I was careful, the tape holding the incision was coming off!!! I felt like crap extremely sore and needing to wear a sports bra day and night as well as binding myself with an ace bandage 24 hours a day for the first 3 weeks!!! I needed to return yet again after 1 week when the tape holding the incision closed was causing burning - turned out it was pulling on skin incorrectly, so I had skin above and below teh incision blistering and pulling skin off! Another return to the office to re-tape. I did tell Dr. Gleason I was not at all prepared for the amount of recovery (actually I was quite shocked). She did tell me my procedure was more aggressive than typical. I told her she really should have told me that after the procedure. The only information I had was teh discharge sheet with "pain and tenderness " the next day, Really? I felt like I was harpooned at 3 feet. The lack on information was really a disservice. I would have taken her 9 seconds to give me the heads up.

I have had a lot of medical issues in my life and Dr. Gleason is the most compassionate, knowledgeable, efficient, caring doctor I have ever meet. She has been wonderful throughout my breast cancer treatment even calling me in San Diego to talk. I feel so blessed to have found such a wonderful doctor during this difficult time.

I was referred to Dr. Gleason when I had a suspicious mammogram. Her office scheduled me immediately, and I'm so happy I met her. She provided me with the best care possible. After a 2nd opinion with a "star" surgeon in NYC--which her office scheduled for me-- I knew that I would get even better care with Dr. Gleason. Each patient has a team of professionals to walk with her each step of the way, and communication is wonderful. Dr. Gleason takes time with me to answer all questions & concerns.

Dr. Gleason is a caring and compassionate doctor, with expert knowledge of the most current research in breast cancer treatment. I chose her over a "star" surgeon in NYC for my cancer care. I knew I would receive better care, and more attention, from her practice and team of professionals than I would at a giant cancer center where I would be one of 100s of patients a day. I was thrilled to learn that HMC is a nationally accredited breast cancer program, confirming my choice to stay close to home for treatment. She is a wonderful listener and takes as much time as I need to answer questions and concerns. I'm extremely happy with the care I receive from her, and at Hunterdon's cancer center.
