Awesome doctor classic and caring.
I work in the healthcare industry and had to communicate with Dr. Balint's office and was not a good experience. The secretary who does not introduce herself was rude on multiple occasion. She hung up on me without providing any answer and when I called back she sounded sarcastic. Even Dr. Balint herself was unprofessional. She was sarcastic and had no professional judgement. The secretary seemed over work and have forgotten work ethics and should reflect on the management of the office if that is a fact, otherwise she's just flat out rude then. I would not recommend this practice to anyone if no changes is to happen.
She explains your diagnosis clearly. Always on spot on your illness. She treats you like you're a member of her family.
I highly recommend Dr. Balint. She spends time with all her patients and never cuts you short. She accurately diagnoses her patients making referrals to specialist as needed. She does not refer unnecessarily. She has been my doctor for at least 20 years. I am very pleased; however there are two women who run the office that can be rather curt. The nurses are great!
She is very caring and listens which a trait many doctors do not have.
I have been a patient for many years and Dr. Balint has given me excellent care and enabled me to live my life with energy and able to enjoy my days. In addition, I think she is a wonderful, caring person. It is a pleasure to visit her for checkups.
Parking near office difficult. Long wait with old magazines and no television. She does not accept debit or credit cards.
She is an excellent doctor. I always feel like she has seen it all. She is thorough and spends plenty of time with each of her patients. I always have one of the last appts of the day and she is only ever running a few minutes behind. The only negative thing I could come up with is the curtness of her office receptionists. I have gotten used to it and I like the doctor and her nurse Rose, so I can deal with the others.
When I first started seeing Dr. Balint, I thought she was so nice. But she didn't diagnose me with a condition I have- I found out later that actually used the wrong test. My main symptom had many, many different causes, but she told me that outside of three things, she couldn't think of anything else that could be causing it. She also told me that people who are depressed (I personally am not) just need to get over it, that they don't have good coping skills. Besides those two things, there were a few more things that happened that I didn't like. I found a new doctor who knows what she is talking about and is very compassionate!
Dr. Balint is fantastic, but her office manager Phyllis is very mean! All the other staff is so nice, but I wonder sometimes why Dr. Balint keeps this woman there as she is so rude to people. If it was not for Dr. Balint, we would have gone elsewhere long ago having to deal with Phyllis who has zero compassion for people's financial situations!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
