I will say at first my husband and I are both healthcare workers. We know there are bad and good doctors. That being said, the last month our 4 year old son fractured his left thumb after an accident with his older sibling. His nurse, Barabara and Dr. Tareco were fantastic when dealing with my impatient, full of questions, and full of energy little boy. They took xrays (the person doing the xray was great with him as well!) and she came in to deliver the bad news which we kind of knew. The nurse and doctor both explained and was patient with our son about his injuries. They were great when casting his arm for the fracture even knowing that he was uncomfortable with it. They answered all the questions my husband had and said if we had questions after they were a phone call away. Fast forward to 4 weeks later, he was ready to get his cast off. Again, nurse Barbara was GREAT at explaining to our son who had more questions out of curiosity then his two healthcare parents. She showed his the cast cutter, the scissors and the tool that spreads open the cast. She mentally prepared him so there was no surprises. Which is a huge thing to do for the pediatric population. After removing the cast he got more xrays to confirm the fracture was healing. Dr. Tareco was great upon entering the room, examine our son and told us the next steps at home to help with his mobility with at home PT. Which we knew was what he would have to do since he was in a cast for that long. She walked us out and helped our son get some stickers and a lollipop for his good office check up. Good bedside manner, staff friendly and clean office, great with young kids.

Waiting over two months to get copies of medical records. Mailbox for records is "full". Reception places you on hold indefinitely. And not great care. Go to another group. We had a great experience at CHOP.

Horrible office staff. They lost my sons X-rays. Impossible to get in contact with them. They do not return calls.

I went last January and then I went for a follow up last July. I was billed twice as much for July as January, but they hardly did anything to justify that. I want an explanation. I have been calling since August asking for an explanation. I have not received any reply from them yet. I have been speaking to a lady named Patty. She has been polite, but not able to get me the answer. 2 weeks ago she said she is e-mailing billing copying all the vice presidents. I didn't get any reply. I have to say very bad experience with this office.

The nurses were very patient and spent quality time with my 7yo. She had a broken collarbone over Thanksgiving. The doctor was very kind and thorough and saw her through until she was fully healed. They did temp checks, wore masks and made sure you never waited long. Waits are in your car until seen. I would fully recommend this doctor and staff to anyone in the area.

STAY AWAY!!! Dr Tareco gave my son “second hit” on the broke bone and caused displacement. She thinks it’s common. We will file a complaint to the board. She had one in record already. NEGATIVE, NEGATIVE, NEGATIVE!

PLEASE CONSIDER GOING TO ANOTHER ORTHOPEDIST!! There are many better options available. This doctor is extremely rough and impatient, and made my injury WORSE. I recently fractured my collarbone, and I went to the ER and had an x ray done immediately. It was relatively minor as the two pieces of bone were still attached, and I was able to take classes(virtual school), and eat/sleep/use the bathroom normally. During my visit, Dr. Tareco lifted my arm up super high to try and take off my sling, even though I was not ready. I was immediately in a lot of pain, and had trouble walking out of her office. For the next 24 hours after the visit, I had trouble eating, sleeping, and moving. I had another x ray done at a different orthopedist, and the new image shows a dislocation after the initial injury. There is a clear difference between the x ray taken before my visit and the one taken afterwards. I called her that night, and she said that the pain was expected and that it was okay. She did not acknowledge her actions or apologize. Although she looks good on paper(John Hopkins med), that is from over 20 years ago and currently she is, in my opinion, overconfident in her abilities and negligent. Also, if you research her a bit deeper, she has had a malpractice claim filed against her in 2017. She has caused me excessive pain unnecessarily because of her poor conduct, and I highly recommend finding another doctor.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. I fractured my collarbone, but there was originally no dislocation according to the x ray taken in the ER. Dr Tareco was very rough with my shoulder when she tried to take my sling off, even though I was not ready. I have been in a lot of pain ever since my visit, and according to new x rays done she made my injury WORSE. The broken pieces are now sliding on top of each other. I highly recommend finding another orthopedist. (November 2020).

VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. I fractured my collarbone, and during my visit she made the injury WORSE, dislocating the fragments. She caused me a lot of pain because she was rough and negligent. Highly recommend finding another doctor.
