I'm giving one star for her ability to explain how your body is impacted as a result of Diabetes. But she told me that Diabetes was my fault. That I was killing myself. And I can continue to eat what I want and die. I read other reviews about liking her tough 'tell it like it is' approach. Not me. I prefer a little more kindness and coddling.

Today was my first visit with DrLamothe. Her greeting was kind and I immediately felt comfortable. She was a good listener and provided answers for my questions. I left my visit feeling I had a better understanding of what was going on. She made some suggestions and recommendations that I will be following through with.

Dr. Lamothe is in my insurance network so I reached out to her for an appointment without a recommendation from anyone. She is wonderful! Takes the time to explain diagnosis with a pleasant bedside manner. So glad to have her as my doctor.

this Dr and staff have to be incompetent sometimes when I call during office hours when I'm having issues with low or high sugars it takes days for them to respond back I've been to Endocrinologists that I thought were horrible but when it came down to me calling regarding highs or lows it never took days for them to respond back to me

this Dr doesn't respect people's time most of the time when I go it's my appointment time and she has 2 or more people ahead of me so I never see her on time she's always running way behind wait all that time to see her and she just rushes to the next patient she's not worth it

I'd give zero stars if able. I tried to book an appointment. They won't book an appointment without blood work. They won't send for blood work until you're a patient. I don't have a Dr. in NJ. Explained my previous Dr. is in CA and suggested i have those records sent, but she said they're too old to count. The "person" on the phone didn't even care that I just took my BGL and it was at 486. HORRIBLE!!!
