Qing Tai's Online Review Report Card

I went here to find out why I had chronic pain on one side of my lower back. Dr Tai was great to explain potential causes and reviewed MRI results. Unfortunately the focus was on the spine and we did not cover the possibility of the hip joint and my pain (and lump over the area) remain undiagnosed. The pain is not extreme, but it is constant with some days better than others and I was hoping to find out what is going on with the lump and if I can keep it from getting worse. The office staff is great and you can easily get an appointment.

I had gone to Dr. Tai about a year ago and thankfully, have not needed to go back! He is a wonderful doctor and you can tell he really cares about his patients. Takes his time to go over everything. He does have an accent, but he talks slow and makes sure that you understand everything before leaving. I had one epidural injection and a few treatments with acupuncture for my lower back and I have not felt better. I recommend him and the office to anyone who has discomfort. **To the person who advised about his prescriptions etc. not sure exactly what that paragraph meant, or if you were referring to the right doctor? For both myself and a few other people that have seen him, Dr. Tai goes out of his way to NOT prescribe pain meds and try options first.

Dr. Tai is a wonderful person. His knowledge & understanding of a patients chronic pain is absolutely a amazing. He is currently taking care of my husband with his situation . We trust him completely. His compassion & understanding is to be commended. We are so happy he is helping us. My husband couldn't be in better hands.

Excellent if you need pain management he is the one see

I have been seeing Dr Tai for pain management of my back for around 8 years. When I completely blew out 1 of my discs 6 years ago I called him because the pain was debilitating, I had been to him 2 days prior for a successful epidural follow up visit . When he saw me he sent me for an MRI and wanted me back with the results which he determined was a blown out disc. He called the head of neurology for my local hospital . Surgery would be needed. The whole process from injury to surgery only took 3 days. The look on Dr Tai’s face and in his eyes was one of genuine care and compassion. I have had multiple epidurals and he has never hurt me. My pain is constant but controlled to a minimum to were I can work and function on a daily basis. I would highly recommend Dr Tai to anyone with pain. Thank you Dr Tai

I have been seeing Dr Tai for 8 years. U have chronic back pain for which my treatment consists of anti inflammatory medicine, nerve pain medicine and opioid medicine. I also receive epidural injections. I was at Dr.Tai’s office for a 2 week epidural follow up and everything went well. 2 days later I had acute pain in lower back shooting down left leg and leg weakness. I called Dr Tai and he took me as an emergency, when I walked into his office and he saw how much pain I was in,the look of genuine compassion and and concern for my condition was unlike I have ever seen in a doctor before. He immediately had me sent in for an MRI and return to his office with the results. He said I had fully blown out my disc and had me at a neurologist office the same day. The neurologist said I would need surgery . The whole process took 3 days from injury to surgery. I will never forget the look of compassion in his eyes. I have had multiple epidural procedures and he has never hurt me. I would and do recommend this doctor to anyone in need for pain management.

At every appointment, Dr. Tai spends a lot of time explaining the cause of my back pain, my MRI results, and the treatment options to me. He does a thorough exam each time and gives detailed answers to all my questions. He doesn't overprescribe medication, he explores alternative options like acupuncture, and he doesn't push for back injections if he feels it won't help me. After following his recommendations, my back is significantly better and I am back to jogging every day! Not only is Dr. Tai a personable and knowledgeable doctor, the office is clean and inviting. The staff is professional, friendly, and efficient, and I always leave with a smile. I highly recommend him to anyone with back or neck pain!

The few doctors I've met in the pain management field were quick to prescribe narcotics for my pain. Never informing me of the different ways to relieve my back pain. Physical therapy and lower spine injections have not helped me too much. However when the doctor recommended I lose some weight I immediately felt results. Dr. Tai has taught me a few techniques that can help relieve my pain. This doctor cares about your well-being and will teach you many ways to relieve your pain. The staff are a lovely group of smart and kind women. Even when my back is giving me a lot of problems the women in the office always have me leaving with a smile or laugh.

I trust Dr Tai with my life. He always answers my questions with sympathy and knowledge. I would not see another Dr to manage my pain. He is not a pill Dr. so if you are Dr shopping do no not make an appointment with him.
