I'm 49 & went to Dr. Buonocore to receive a 2nd opinion RE cervical radiculopathy. I provided him w/ all of my imaging, EMG etc, yet he entered the exam room completely unprepared. Despite ME sitting on the exam table, he thought my 82 yr old Aunt who was sitting in a chair, was the patient. I had to tell him I was his patient. Then he proceeded to question the validity of my EMG & attempted to discredit the Dr who performed it. He couldn't tell the difference between a 49 y/o & an 82 y/o.
My experiene with Dr. " B" is excellent. I'm looking forward to having Dr. "B" hlelp me in my future problems. He listens very closely to my concerns and I appreciate the interest that he shows me. Well worth his salt. MDiC
Dr. Buonocore was extremely unhelpful...he was unwilling to answer many of my questions about my surgery and only spent about five minutes with me at each appointment..pre-surgery as well as post-surgery. I made a huge mistake by not getting a second opinion!
He misdiagnosed me because he did not actually read my MRI's (I had about 4 before I went to see him). He simply read what the MRI tech wrote in their analysis and gave me a misdiagnosis. He told me (before I got a second opinion) that I had a rare condition that could lead to paralysis and that I should limit working out to light things like walking or swimming. I waited several months before I was able to get an appointment for a second opinion, and they told me that his diagnosis was WRONG.
Caring, concern and direct in care

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
