I’ve done my research found Dr.Boretz. He performed my surgery happy with my results. Amazing doctor & staff!
You should not be seeing any doctor where the staff does not understand basic human mistakes. After driving 1,5 hrs showed up to my appointment thinking I was 10 min early but I was 20 min late. The doctor did not agree to see me because he had to leave early (probably to his beach house)Beware of doctor’s like that because it them who tell their staff not to see patients at the end of the day.
Very grateful to the doctor and all of the offiec and abulatory surgical staff.Jodie was terrific!
Had the best experience with Dr. Boretz and his staff. Would highly recommend him and his assistant Jodie.
Dr.Robert S. Boretz and his staff are excellent. I had many hand issues in both of my hands he and his staff explained everything . What was causing the problems what the procedures would be to correct the issues.I couldn't be happier. My fingers are straight, no more pain andI can clap again. I wish I had gone to see them earlier.
Dr. Boretz addressed both my carpal tunnel and rotator cuff surgeries. Excellent. Very pleased with both surgeries.
Dr. Robert Boretz is AMAZING!! Trust me when I tell you that he will diagnose and address your concern immediately. Personable, professional and fixes the problem right then and there if he can.
I had worsening arthritis in my thumb joints and was referred to Dr. Boretz by another orthopedist. He explained what was causing my pain and suggested a conservative treatment. After a few years it was time to bite the bullet and have an excisional arthroplasty done. He did a great job and I got the use of my dominant hand back, which is important because in my job I use sign language all day. A year later I had the other thumb done. This time he gave me a nerve block and mild sedation instead of general anesthesia which made it much easier. I have complete confidence in Dr. Boretz which is why I went back to him when my shoulder needed attention. I referred my mother and others to him. I highly recommend him.
After seeing 2 other Dr's for the pain in my wrist, Dr. Boretz knew what was wrong even before looking at my xrays and mri. Two other dr's said it was simply tendonitis, which I knew it wasn't and fought them on it, but they dismissed it. Both missed pertinent results in my MRI. When in fact, I had a TFCC tear as well as issues with the length of my ulna vs my radius that required surgery. He called me directly once he got additional MRI results and spent a good 25 minutes on the phone with me - He explained the process to me and made sure I understood the issue. He was very conservative with the surgery. I gave him auth to complete a fairly invasive additional procedure prior to him actually going into my wrist based on what he saw. Most dr's would take that auth and see dollar signs. Dr. Boretz used his judgment and avoided the additional procedure and I am glad that he did because my wrist is 75% better which is enough for me to justify not having the additional procedure which had risks of additional complications. Very impressed by his expertise, experience, and judgment. He is not warm and fuzzy, but very courteous and professional - which I like more because he is straight and to the point which allows you to have trust in him. I have recommended several friends to Dr. Boretz. One who was told by another doctor that he needed surgery. He saw Dr. Boretz for a second opinion and opted out of the surgery and thankful that he did. He is busy, but it is obvious why. Wouldn't you be a little concerned if a doctor was always readily available. I hate waiting, however Dr. Boretz is worth the wait.
I had a great experience (not having surgery - but the care and results) with Dr. Boretz. He was knowledgeable, took time to understand my goals for activities, etc., post-surgery, and he helped me achieve them. The shoulder surgery went well (Nov. 2017), and I feel 100% recovered. I have no restrictions on my activities (other than common sense) and am quite a bit stronger than I was pre-injury. (P.S. - I also did all of my physical therapy, which makes a difference!)

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
