Dr. Lei Xu's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Xu Lei charged me more than my insurance said he should have and when I asked him why he told me to never come back to his office. I guess he didn't want to own up to his lie, but he will overcharge you!! He's just trying to make the most money rather than care about his patients. I wasn't even being rude, I was just curious since my insurance told me something different than him. His loss, I can easily find a new dentist but I hope he doesn't ever get new patients because he's so rude and so is his receptionist!!

I found Dr. Xu through Medicaid and had a very bad experience. Before I was enrolled in Medicaid, I paid out of pocket to see another dentist who told me that I needed several fillings and probably one crown. Dr. Xu examined the x-rays, and then spent about 5 minutes pointing out all the problem areas to me and telling me how severe and "difficult" they were (because they were beneath old fillings). He did not offer any solution, just kept telling me how bad the situation was. When I asked "What do I do?" and "Can you help me?" he literally did not respond. Then he kept shaking his head and saying "It's very very difficult". He made me feel absolutely horrible and hopeless about my teeth. I found him to be cold and rude. The next thing I knew he was shooing me out into the waiting room and handed me a card with the word "prosthodontist" on it and told me that I need to see a specialist (even though I told him my insurance does not cover it). I already knew my teeth problems were within the scope of a regular (competent) dentist. I believe he did not feel like doing the work on me because I have Medicaid, which doesn't pay him much for his work, OR he doesn't know how to do "difficult" fillings. Neither of those things (incapable or lazy) is acceptable in a medical professional.

My dentist of over 10 years dropped my insurance and so I was forced to find a replacement and Peaceful Dental Care was a welcoming change. The office was clean and inviting, the staff was very helpful, and Dr. Xu us very nice and professional.

bad service, bad attitude, bad technique, bad knowledge, not act as a professional, stay away

This "dentist" is very unprofessional, rude, doesnot care about the patients, worst, with no integrity and mistreated the patients, not a person with his word, instead, dont do the work he promised, and cheated the patients for his unprofessional work, letting patient waiting for long hours, and didnot finish his work. Very bad "dentist" with no integrity. Horrible experience.
