List of Carran Melissa's Reviews
She is awful! She basically yelled at my mom for forgetting to take her seizure meds. We tried to tell her that the medications ran out, and that we couldn t get a refill, but Dr. Carran didn t even let us talk. On top of that, she never even pays attention to my mom s concerns during her visits. She constantly just changes my mom s medications around, and always cuts the appointments short. We re now looking for a new neurologist, and we hope to find someone who is more caring than Dr. Curran :(
Terrible person. Seems really smart, but cuts you off and doesn t care about what you have to say. Every time I saw her, she made me feel so uncared for during my visits. I now have a new neurologist, and I am so happy that I switched! I hope that she one day learns how to treat people kindly, without being so condescending.
Terrible person. Seems really smart, but just cuts you off and doesn’t care what you say or think. Every time I saw her, she made me feel so uncared first during my visits. One of the best experiences I had at a doctor's office. She was able to help me with my seizures and explain everything thoroughly. She took her time with me and I cant wait to follow up with her !
I didn't care for this nurologist in the beginning. She just kept giving me more meds and more meds, not good. At one point I had the shakes so bad I couldn't hold anything, book, pen etc. She was fine with that!!! It's not normal for a person to shake. I changed nurologist and been great since.DON'T GO TO HER.
She said it was my fault for my psudo seizures and told me to stop because I was hurting my mom. But I was on anti-seizure medication which made my anxeity worse. And at the time I didn't know I had anxeity or that it was a mental disorder. On top of that I have vaso-vagal and sometimes suffer convulsions. So you can see how things was really complicated. She is horrible!!! I have to see another neurologist and I too afraid to go because of how bad my experience was.
Arguably the most demeaning and inconsiderate physician that I have ever encountered. She stood at her computer the entire time during the session and barely made eye contact. Every time I tried to utter a word, she would cut me off and abrasively give her input. At times, she would cut me off BY ASKING A QUESTION that was completely irrelevant to what I was just saying.I get that medicine is busy and needs to move quickly, but she is blatantly rude and seems to lack insight about her inconsiderate behavior. My wife refused to come back to my appointments with me because of how terrible Dr. Carran's bedside manner is. I have just switched to another Neurologist, and from a comparison standpoint, I now appreciate how awful it was to be treated by Dr. Carran for the past several years.Highly NOT RECOMMENDED
She is a wonderful Dr I admire her with the utmost respect I hope she reaches her highest goal and keeps up the good work she is doing
She does not care about her patients and getting anything done with the office staff/phone trees was a nightmare
Best neurologist ever. She stopped my grand mail seizures and made my complex partial seizures less frequent and now I can drive! She's very nice. I've had some mean neurologist before that didn't care. She's the best and I mean it.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
