I would highly recommend Cooper Hospital and Dr Tomaszewski. I could not be happier with the staff and Hospital during my Surgery and visits. Everyone was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I was able to schedule appointments easily. Was able to be seen on a short notice. And the navigator Sue Wasienko was a great help in submitting documents and coordinating my visits, surgery and aftercare.

I went to him to get a tumor removed from my right kidney. This was an incredibly stressful time and I put myself in his hands. After my surgery, my incision wouldn’t heal. It looked like it was infected. Went back and was told that it wasn’t infected. He was not sure why this happened and had me come back for multiple visits. It would close and then reopen after “treatments “. A year and a half later, I had to get my gall bladder out and arranged a plastic surgeon to close it up. It was then that I was told that a stitch was left and traveled up my abdomen. That’s when I vowed never to have him put his hands on me again.

After the surgery, I got infected with Sepsis and almost died, then the extreme incontinence started. I was told by his resident the incontinence could last 9-12. Maybe one dry guard a day. That could not have been further form reality. The morning of the surgery I told Dr. T, I wasn't afraid of Cancer or dying from it. I was scared of living a restricted life and a diaper, etc. After 20 months, 8 months of PT, the first reconstructive surgery, NOTHING has stopped it. I cannot even take a 15 minute walk without the guard overflowing with no feeling. He says this is not normal. He feels bad. When I reach out to MDA, to get help, I get nothing. Dr. T hides behind his Nurse Navigator. My life is not important enough for him to communicate directly with me. I met him face to face, with words and no action. I am his failure statistic!! I deserved the high level of service these other people got. Pray to GOD you are not in his Failing rate. You will be alone with MDA! SO SAD

After seeing (3) Urolgists about my prostate cancer I chose Dr. Tomaszewski based on his experience and his willingness to cover all aspects of what i would experience during surgery and recovery. After reviewing my case he advised me that he would most likely use a technique called RETZIUS-sparing radical prostatectomy. Although I do not have the final pathology at this time, I was told the surgery went very well and have not experienced any incontinence as a result. Throughout my whole experience with the Dr and his team, all those involved where very efficient and professional and made me feel secure in my care.

I met Dr. Tomaszewski about 6 years ago for a second opinion for prostate cancer. He immediately put my mind at ease as I was very worried with my previous diagnosis. I knew that I would eventually have to have my prostate removed. I thank God for having met Dr. T, he walked me through the entire process. I decided to have my prostate removed in June 2022 and now I am cancer free. I would highly recommend Dr. T and his team, they are all top notch professionals that in my opinion are the best in their field. Bill H. New Jersey

Your professionalism and empathy coupled with your patience and detailed explanation of what I was facing were on point. I just want to say thank you for saving my life and although I know I still have to be checked periodically. I will now thanks to God and you have the pleasure of seeing my son grow up. I had lypo saucoma you removed it and I am now recovering. My scars a memium, you did an excellent job thank you😊 If you're looking for a great doctor I recommend you choose him.

For nearly 2 years Dr T counseled me on an enlarged prostate and elevating PSA. Eventually biopsies and MRI's revealed the time for "watching" was not comfortable for me. Dr T helped me navigate my options for treatment and was supportive. He answered my and my wife's questions thoroughly and listened to our concerns. I finally decided on removal of prostate. Dr T and his surgical team performed robotic surgery.To our great relief all went impressively well and the side effects that I anticipated were minimal.We would highly recommend Dr Tomaszewski and are certain that in my post surgical care and follow ups, I will continue to receive the best that he has to give.A special shout out to Dr T's Nurse Navigator, Sue Wasienko. She was the "lighthouse in the storm" whenever we had a question, concern or item that needed attention.Especially appreciated when trying to accomplish various tasks or simple communications in the giant called MD Anderson/Cooper. Forever grateful for Dr T & team!

I am glad Dr. Tomaszewski listened to me about my right flank pain and he gave me the option for surgery. He did a great job on my surgery and my pain is now gone. I would definitely recommend him to my friends and family.

it was more than one visit and I can not say enough about Dr. T. I was totally frustrated with an issue I was having and he understood and kept trying till he found the reason for my problem. He performed surgery and fixed me. I would recommend him to anyone that is having urologic issues.
