List of Meredith C. Duffy's Reviews
I had 2 doctors that were highly recommended to me for hysterectomy surgery. I had 2 consultations. Facing a small chance at cancer is intimidating enough, I knew if there was a possibility I wanted the best surgeon I could find. I’m very glad I chose Dr Duffy over the other surgeon. Dr Duffy is a very professional highly skilled surgeon. I felt confident in her knowledge and competency by how she was able to look over my medical records, explained my situation clearly, listened to all my questions with patience, (and believe me there were many) answered me with great detail and clarity. She helped me to understand my options and voice my concerns and take part in deciding with her what was best for me.She was personable but very professional and straightforward. She didn’t waste precious time with my condition either and suggested a crucial test the day of my consultation and I was thrilled she offered. The entire surgical experience was fantastic. Highly recommend.
Dr Duffy was very thorough. I felt she listened to me and answered all my questions, she even called me herself with results instead of a nurse. She called and talked to my husband herself after my procedure. I was very nervous and felt she really helped me understand my condition and was willing to follow what I wanted, did not push her opinion on me but gave me facts to come to my own conclusion.
A few years ago, my mom had to see Dr Duffy, and thought she was terrific. Kind, nice, attentive, professional and knowledgeable. My mom didn't like everyone but she liked Dr Duffy.
Not a great experience for me. Went in for pre-cancer hysterectomy. Dr Crisp discharged me the next day despite experiencing significant pain. Half way back home from Cooper to the shore, I was in unmanageable pain like I never felt before I my life. My husband was scared but had to leave me and collect the pain management prescription. At post-op appt., Dr Crisp told me news of stage 2 ( originally thought to be stage 0 ) like it was no big deal. I had no support with me
She is the primary cause of my mothers declining heath and then death. She screwed up during surgery and then never came to see my mother or family after surgery, until days later after another emergency surgery and days in icu. Then acted like she knew all that was going on , but proceeded to ask us questions. Will never ever recommend this doctors. You screw up fine but admit and be there to prevent or alert others to what could be going on.
Dr. Duffy and all the staff at Cooper were amazing! Could not have asked for a better experience with my surgery. Every single person I spoke too at the hospital said how much they loved her, it says a lot the amount and respect everyone there has for her! I would highly recommend!!
Dr. Crisp is a very caring, gentle doctor with excellent bedside manner. She thoroughly explained every procedure I was having done. I have cervical cancer and needless to say, I was extremely anxious about having treatment. She assured me it would be ok and she would take care of me. I highly recommend her
My gynecologist sent me to Cooper for a second opinion , and she was the only one that I didn't have to wait 2 months to see. Now I see why. The nurse who went over my history with me was fantastic. Then I met Dr. Crisp. She barely spoke to me as she read through the records my doctor sent to their office. I asked her why I was having the issue I was having and she looked at me and says "I don't know, you should probably see a specialist." I waited an hour to see her, and she spent maybe 15 minutes with me at the most. Unacceptable. I was sent to cooper because they "specialize" in gynecologic oncology, I guess I was wrong. Then I heard nothing for 3 months until one day I received a voicemail saying I had to come for a follow-up based on my results. I never received a phone call, email or nothing about my test results. I even checked on the MYCooper website, nothing. I called a few times and spoke to a nurse asking for my results to be sent to my doctor, they never did. What a waste of time. I had to take off of work because I live 2 hours away, just for her to bill my insurance over 5 thousand dollars, for a test my regular gynecologist bills my insurance $200. I don't know if all the specialists at cooper are like this, but I would not reccomend anyone go to her.
Dr. Crisp has excellent bedside manners and expertise. She doesn't assume anything or take anything for granted. She is very careful. She asks questions and investigates to ensure all is cancer-free. She seems to care. Highly recommend her.
Twice she refused to call me back when I had questions. It was only when I called the office to ask them to close my file as I would not be coming back there, that she bothered to try and call me. One time she even had the receptionist call me back to answer a very sensitive question with a two word answer. Doesn't care about her patients at all...

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
