My mother went in on 9/26/22 to have an “insertion of lung drainage” tube completed that was never done. All doctors caring for her were questioned but we never got any answers. I’ve found that insurance was billed $16,273.00 for the procedure that was NOT done. I called the office but never got a call back, I called Cooper Patient Relations 3 times, left messages with NO CALL BACKS.

Excellent - listens to patients and doesn’t follow the same managed care formula. Dr Wissam is also willing to go the extra mile and practice interventions that less experienced docs couldn’t even attempt.

Caring doctor , explains every aspect to the point , gives multiple options for treatment and follows up closely with patients. Would definitely recommend as a care specialist!

I can't even say enough good things about Dr. Wissam Abouzgheib. Number 1, is that he saved my husband's life in April of this year. My husband went into sepsis shock, after chemotherapy treatments and pneumonia. The pneumonia was so bad my husband was put on a ventilator. Dr. Wissam was able to stabilize my husband from the sepsis. My husband's lungs were damaged from the pneumonia, and with all the procedures Dr. Wissam was able to do, my husband was able to get off the vent. Thank you!

I came to Dr. Wissam for a second opinion on my lung nodules and we followed up four years and then another tiny nodule appeared. Dr. Wissam immediately sent me for further tests,preparing,not scaring me for what could happen. My tumor was tiny and invasive.I was prepared for anything,but because of quick action of the Cooper team, it was found before it had spread. Dr.Wissam and his office staff are true professionals. Highly recommend this doctor .

I had Cardio Pulm Exer test to determine why I was quickly out of breath. The dr that gave the test said Dr. Wissam would have results in a few days. 2 weeks later I had not heard so I called, called again, and called a 3rd day. No responses from him. The following wk I called again and did not hear from him. I called my primary to get the results, but office staff put me thru to his office. I think a non dr. gave me some info and said the dr. said if I want more info 2 make an appt. I'm angry!
