Took great care with my daughter.
Dr. D’Agostini is an outstanding physician, highly talented surgeon, innovative in his field and who has not ceased to improve. His level of professionalism, medical, scientific expertise is exceptional, as is his meticulous, relentless attention to the welfare of his patients. As a result of his surgery and subsequent care my complete pain free mobility has not only been restored, it has lasted for more than two decades. This was a followup visit.
I work directly with Dr. dAgostini hands. I’m sorry but in addition to his horrible personality, you know by the time you’re an old man like him you should be able to regulate your behavior somewhat so he was suspended from the hospital for probably lashing out at someone at someone at somebody in one of his bad moods, I would hope, maybe at least stay more some Medical Center employee because when he gets frustrated in the operating room, he freaks out like a raging orangutan. Which, if you’re having surgery you don’t need the whole entire room to be scared during your surgery because nobody functions well when they are experiencing the flight part of a fight or flight situation. I worked in the operating room there for 20 years and in order to be a good operating room nurse. Unfortunately you need to be able to work with a range of different personalities. This surgeon, Dr. D’Agostini in an attempt to move himself faster to keep up with some of the brilliant surgeons there, that he works with some of them in his group, he takes lots of shortcuts, for instance, during a total knee replacement of which I’ve been involved in thousands doctor and every one of his colleagues that’s busy trials the parts that they’re going to cement into your body to make sure that there going to work and they don’t need to do any extra little cuts or anything talk to dAgostini decided at some point to stop trailing parts now if you don’t know if it doesn’t work in real life and someone’s cements without testing it that is truly malpractice and I personally never had a problem working with them so that’s not where it’s coming from. There is no reason to go to him. Some people get excited like it’s a badge of honor to be operated on by him, but enjoy the possible negative outcomes that can come from a surgeon who doesn’t make sure everything fits before your implants are cemented in because he wants to be faster, that is malpractice.
Dr D’Agostini has been my orthopedic doctor for years, treating all my orthopedic issues professionally and with true personal patient concern. He will be my special doctor until he retires.
I’m a physician and have had multiple issues with tendinitis. Most recently, I could barely walk due to hip tendinitis, and he diagnosed it and cured it with a single injection. I tell my patients that he is not warm and fuzzy, but is the best diagnostician and surgeon in the area.
Excellent Doctor easy to talk to.
The staff was helpful ,pleasant and efficient . Dr D Agostini was very easy to speak with. Listened to me and explained everything I needed to know. Left my appointment with a plan and knowing what needed to be done. I normally never leave reviews so hope this helps.
Dr. D’Agostini, after our visit it was a beautiful day so I hiked 6 miles. This time because of your scholarship I wasn’t fearful of the pain getting worse but instead pushed through it and at the end of the hike there was no pain. Just arthritis ??
I had shoulder dislocations from sports when I was in high school & college. Got so bad I couldn’t lift my hands over my head. Finally decided to do something about it. Met with Dr. D’Agostini in 2001. He recommended a full shoulder replacement. He fully explained the surgery and rehab. Even gave me the names of a few previous patients who agreed to speak with me about their experiences. He said let him know when I was ready. No pressure. Decided to have it done. Best thing I ever did. Eventually had both shoulders done. Today I’m still pain free. 20 years ago he also did leg surgery on my daughter. Some people say he’s rude and uncaring, but the day of her surgery, he CARRIED my 10 year old daughter into the OR. Kindest thing I’ve ever seen. She was active in athletics in HS & college with no issues. Short and to the point he may be. Honest and upfront, yup. Best surgeon out there, you betcha. Could say more but running outta characters. Hang in there with him. You won’t regret it.
I had fairly serious Knee pain problem. He looked at my X-ray immediately determined that I had arthritis in the Knee. He offered a cortisone injection which I accepted. He administered the injection, and by the time I left the office the pain was gone. After a month my knee pain is gone.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
