During the COVID pandemic, I suffered greatly from my underlying health problems. They were severe enough to disrupt my daily life, but not so severe that it was life threatening. Still, they made it so living each day was difficult. Every doctor I tried to see was closed or told you to go to the ER. Not Dr. Monka. Both him and his office staff were very kind and responsive. When I called for help, they returned my calls without fail, and did everything they could to help me through this time. I couldn't ask for a better doctor than Dr. Monka, and I'm so happy I found him. He is so patient, responsive, kind, and hard working. I couldn't have made it through this without his help.

I couldn't ask for a better doctor than Dr. Monka. He is patient, responsive, kind, intelligent, hard working, and treats you as a human being and not just a patient with an illness.

He is a great doctor (AND A NICE PERSON ) he really listens to me. He takes a lot of time with me ! The main thing is that i feel very comfortable around him, also he is low key and of course he has a lot o knowledge. All i can say is go in and see for yourself.

My dear friend, Ira, It is with great reluctance that I need to write this. We’ve not seen each other in some time because I have been preoccupied with surgeries and procedures of which you and I had discussed many times. As for my primary care, there is no one better than you....but the employees and their treatment of my needs as a patient have become unacceptable . No one.....NO ONE ...has the right to dangle me from a rope by withholding the medications you prescribed some YEARS ago to relieve my anxiety and depression. Imagine the withdrawal from such medications while being mistreated by your subordinates.... My dear friend...I will NEVER AGAIN be held at the behest of your staff to put me in a position of powerlessness again. I have been seeing Dr. Monka for 20+ years now. I trust his medical opinion implicitly. Otherwise why would I go to him for so long? I first saw Dr. Monka while in a small private practice in Morris Plains that has now grown into a large facility in Cedar Knolls. This however is great because your bloodwork, x-ray, cardio and gastro is all under one roof. There's also MRI and CT scan available in the same building too.

Dr. Monka is great doctor. VERY thorough, knowledgeable, courteous and patient. Always answers all our questions and gets back to us if he needs to followup. His office is "full service" so we don't need to go to several doctors or labs for additional testing. The office staff used to be rude, or at least one person, but I think that issue has been resolved.

I have been a patient for 30 years. When I first moved into the area, Dr. Monka was in a different practice. Luckily, he took over my osteopaths office and merged my files! He is the best!
