List of Summit Medical Group's Reviews
I have been a patient for this practice for about 2 years. The original Nurse Practitioner was amazing! The physician I recently saw this year was horrible. I had spoken to my original physician of a condition that plagues many women occasionally and chronically. She researched the validity of my claim and got back to me in a timely fashion. There are medical journal articles surrounding my issue and my original practitioner made it a point to mention this to me and even email me the articles at my request. I went for my yearly exam recently and found out that the NP I had originally connected with and felt like she really heard me. Her intentions were purely to listen to me and make sure I felt heard.I found out that the NP had subsequently left and I was so please with the practice that I didn’t even bat an eyelash when I made an appointment different physician Dr. Kuchera who I saw this time was not the greatest during the visit. I spoke about my issue and he seemed to understand so I was mildly pleased. Then I spoke about having my tubes tied and he asked me questions to make sure that is something that I wanted. The questions that were asked were a bit odd but I understood. Dr. Kuchera made it point to tell me the physician that would be potentially doing the surgery is his brother. told me that someone would follow up with me about having my tubes tied. My appointment was in December and it is now March. I have called and followed up with them about this and was advised to wait for the call. I still have not received a call as of today. I would have been more impressed about his brother, if I actually got a call back about having my tubes tied. I was also informed of something yesterday that was troubling. SMG has a general policy for all there patients. Yes, a medical group as large as Summit Medical Group has a generalized policy for all there patients. As someone who currently works for a healthcare system and is studying to be a nurse this was a bit troubling to me. I didn’t mention anything at the time as I was just grateful they prescribed what works for me, I went on my marry way. After going home and really mulling over the fact a large practice with several branches and different department would see fit to have a generalized medical policy without taking each patients history and making sure they are up to date on the most current information surrounding the patients issues deplorable. The fact that I go to medical professional for the issue and make it a large point to discuss this and the treatment plan that works for me with the physician and then learn it is not there policy. This fact alone goes to show you how much attention the physician that I saw paid to me. He in his examination assured me if there was an issues that they would prescribed what was needed. After not receiving the call about tying my tubes what should I really have expected. SMG practitioners to advise there patients to go to the local pharmacy and get Monista for there issues is troubling. If I wanted that kind of advice I would have spoken to my pharmacist at Target. I wouldn’t go to a physicians office did the stuff at Target worked for me and my issues. I will be taking my issue somewhere else and want my review to be a warning for other patients and potential patients that this practice of physicians don’t listen to you. They feel general policy’s fit each unique patient, taking there personal medical history into consideration.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
