Tamir Bloom Md's Online Review Report Card

I took my 9 year old son to Ceder Knolls office. They did a couple of x-rays even before consulting with the doctor. I understand that was to save sometime but not worth as they charged 322$ per visit for just 10 minutes of consultation. Dr. Tamir Bloom was friendly and courteous but I recommend others to check the cost before visiting this office.

I took my 9 yr old son in Aug this year for a consultation. They took x-rays even before consultation as such it is mandatory. I understand it will save some time but the way they charge it is not worth saving their time. They charged 325$ for 10 minutes consultation and about 110$ for x-ray. Dr Bloom was good, friendly and courteous but I recommend others to please check the cost before visiting the doctor office as they charge high compared to other providers

My daughter was seen by Dr. Bloom today and it was the most bizarre experience I have ever experienced at a doctor office. On top of the condescending manor in which Dr Bloom spoke to us, he made my daughter feel very uncomfortable. I’ve been to two of this practice’s offices many times between four of my kids and have always had a wonderful experience. I am not sure if I’ll ever go back for fear of having to see this doctor again.

Brought my pre-teen for a sports injury. Not good. Communicated extremely poorly. Was defensive and borderline argumentative when I tried to decipher his diagnosis. Gave me a useless list of PT providers most or all of which were not even pediatric providers. Wasted loads of time trying to find where to have my son treated with PT. He knew the injury he couldn't recommend someone? Just an overall bad experience. Sounds from other reviews that he may be a good orthopedic surgeon. If your trying to avoid getting to the point of needing surgery, pick someone else.

My daughter has been a patient of Dr. Bloom for about 6 years now and all I can say is that we were extremely lucky to have found Dr Bloom. He is just everything you want a doctor you can fully trust with your child’s well-being is. With that said… the waiting times before the appointments are often simply bizarre. They are extremely busy, but not great at estimating their appt times. So if you want your child to be in good hands… be prepared to wait.

“Horrible” to describe in one word. They have no consideration for an appointment of a 4 month old infant. Reached 5 minutes late for an appointment and they say they cannot take us. Same day appointment is offered at 2.30 pm and when we called them previously information given was they are extremely busy. Never recommend this staff and practice as you are told to go back when you are right in front of the door. So Horrible service and horrible practice Absolutely insensitive. I wish there was a negative rating would have given that for sure.

I highly recommend Dr Bloom he is the best Dr. My son 10 years old had an accident and broke his leg. Dr Bloom was very caring, comforting and professional with him and he is completely healed now thanks to Dr Bloom. I can't recommend him enough totally knowledgeable, professional and respectful.

My son is a high level youth athlete. He broke his ankle in 3 places and needed surgery. Thank God Dr. Bloom was on call at Overlook hospital because he did an amazing job! He put plate in and pins and now my son is fully back to normal in just 3 months! He explained everything before the surgery and after and made us calm and confident. Everything went according to plan. Thank you Dr. Bloom! Max is thrilled to be back to playing soccer because of you!

Professional- funny- calm when we were all stressed about our sons broken bone. Set the bone beautifully according to X-rays.

Dr. Bloom was very professional, friendly to my 6 year old and she and I both appreciated that; his bedside manner was great.
