Dr. Michael Alapatt is extremely knowledgeable and talented. He showed genuine care with my concerns. And also took the time to answer all of my questions. While being extremely thorough with all explanations. Weeks after he performed my surgery, I’m happy to report. The pain that initially caused me to see him, is all but completely gone. And I am recovering quite nicely. I thank him and his staff for an overall pleasant experience.

I just want to say that Dr Alapatt is one of the nicest doctors you will encounter, he is sympathetic and extremely kind. This review is for his staff specifically Ana May the scheduling manager. She is rude and doesn’t share the same sympathy. As a person who had three spine surgeries, I called in pain to make an emergency appointment for a Monday and she told me there was no availability and couldn’t help me aside from medicine. She proceeded to send me to another department who took care of prescriptions who was also extremely rude to me whilst I was in pain. When I hung up and called back I got another staff member who didn’t know who I was she gave me an appointment for the same Monday the previous staff said was fully booked. I will be talking to Dr. Alapatt about this and hopefully he will have a powwow with his staff about being kind and helping their customers in agony.

Met dr. Alapatt through Morristown hospital trauma center and I feel very fortunate that he was on call. He is very kind and knowledgeable and his office staff are great. He explains everything well and put me and my husband at ease. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing his expertise.

I was experiencing pain and occasional numbness in my left leg. Dr. Alapatt was able to pinpoint my problem on ex rays . He explained the necessary procedure very well, was easy to talk to and answered all my questions.The doctor did a wonderful job with my surgery and I experienced a positive outcome. I couldn't recommend him more highly.

Dr. Alapatt and his staff are wonderful! The care I recieved both before surgery and after was high quality! This is by far one of the best doctors I have encountered ! The physician assistants are delightful and always make sure your pain levels are manageable ! They keep in contact with you and always answer any questions or concerns promptly! Thankyou so much Dr. Alapatt amd staff!!!!!!!

My husband suffered for over a year with sciatic nerve pain. He tried everything short of surgery. A friend suggested he see Dr. Alapatt and that really saved him. The doctor performed surgery on his back and he has no more sciatic pain.

Doctor Alapatt performed an L4 spinal fusion and discectomy surgery for me, and the results are excellent. He took extra time in the OR to do the least damage possible, which made a big diff. in the short term recovery. His advice and explanations have been hugely helpful. Can't recommend him highly enough.

dr alapatt is extremely knowledgeable, trustworthy, caring, patient and a very good listener. i felt like he took the time to get to know me and my needs. he answered all of my questions no matter how silly they were. surgery was my very last option. i tried everything to avoid surgery (injections, PT, meds, etc). everyone has a different body, so every case is different. when meeting with dr alapatt, he took the time to listen to my experiences and problems with MY BACK. he then gave me his advice as to how to handle my case. most doctors give a general explanation. i would DEFINITELY recommend dr alapatt if you need back surgery. his office staff in both of his offices were very kind and helpful. thank u dr alapatt for giving me faith in doctors and surgeons again!
