Dr Barone is by far one of the best Neurologists on the east coast or top 5 in the country imo. His level of care, knowledge, compassion, teacher and great listener. He is very patient, very respectful, very honest, very professional and very responsive to situations that need attention. He has a certain calm about him which is great for my type A personality. He's become not only my doctor for my MS but a friend. Exceptional man with decades of experience.

I was a patient for 10 years. I was being abused by my care taker who was stealing my money and withholding access to medical care so I missed appointments. I received a letter from their office saying that they refuse to see me. I would have thought they would have at least called to check on me and find out why I was missing my appointments before making such a harsh decision. I called the office and tried to explain to the female who answered the phone what was going on. This person was extremely rude and said too bad that makes no difference you have been dropped as a patient. Anyone working for a doctor should have compassion for the patient and that female clearly showed no compassion. From her attitude that must be the attitude of the doctor and staff.

I went to Dr. Barone for an EMG as he was pretty well-esteemed online. Even though I was technically only in there for the procedure, he took a thorough history and let me vent a bit about my Neurology experience thus far. Excellent bedside manner. During the procedure, which can often be uncomfortable, he kept me calm through conversation and everything went smoothly. All-around, this could not have been a better experience. And practically, he put me on the right track medically which wasn't quite so clear prior to his EMG.
