To share a personal statement, I have known Dr. Toback for over 20 years. He is an astonishingly compassionate individual who cares deeply about the well being of all people, especially those he gets to care for directly. He is someone that focuses on the impacts of connection and intention which allows him to prioritize the root cause of ongoing problems that impact individuals and communities. He brings all those qualities and more into his practice as a mental health provider at Glickman Psychological Services. He continues to work as an attentive professional to pursue his ongoing work to help numerous children, families, and individuals overcome challenges to improve their quality of life.

I have known Dr. Toback for years, and what I appreciate most about him is his calming presence. During the pandemic — when we were all trapped in our homes and drowning in social media noise — it was easy to feel angry and untethered. But speaking with Levi made me feel better about the world and gave me a genuine glimmer of hope. As we've moved from masks and distancing into today's relentless political discourse, that hasn't changed. He still has that rare ability to make you feel like things are going to be okay — even when the evidence is arguing otherwise. That's not a small thing. That's a gift.

I have seen him transition from student, to social worker, to researcher, to running his own study, and now to doctor. His mission has always been to help people (ideally through self empowerment) and I'm excited to see him begin this new chapter.
