Disappointing and Unprofessional Counseling Experience I regret to share that my experience with this counselor was deeply disappointing and unprofessional. Rather than creating a safe, empathetic environment, I felt mocked and belittled during our sessions. When I opened up about my personal struggles, the counselor minimized my feelings and compared my experiences to his own life in a way that felt dismissive and inappropriate. This shift in focus from client to counselor made it difficult for me to feel heard or supported. Additionally, he accused me of being dishonest about the reason I missed a previous session, which was both uncalled for and upsetting. Instead of approaching the issue with curiosity or concern, he was confrontational and judgmental, further damaging the therapeutic relationship. The overall experience left me feeling invalidated and more distressed than when I began. I believe everyone deserves a counselor who listens without judgment, respects boundaries, and fosters a space for healing—not one who imposes their own narrative onto the client. I hope this feedback encourages a reflection on professionalism and client care.

Speaking and working with Dr. Raskind has been a wonderful experience. I was hesitant to speak with a therapist for the longest time, but he has really helped me with out.

I have been working with Dr. Mike for a couple years. I started out one on one to tackle on going anxiety and depressive issues. He gave me a safe space and provided a lot of great ideas to combat these issues and feelings. I was also able to reach clarity on some of these difficult issues and about myself. My husband and I started working with Dr Mike together to help regain a mutual respect and love for one another. Dr. Mike helped equip us with the tools to hear each other, appreciate each and work on recurring issues of how to communicate with respect. Mike wanted to add: he appreciates Dr Mike non-judgemental approach (you don't end the session feeling bad about yourself. That Dr Mike is engaging and thought provoking. Moshe is a wonderful therapist. At several difficult moments in my life, and difficulty making decisions, he helped me see more clearly what my options were. I came to a greater understanding of myself and my capabilities while receiving some compassionate insight. He did not sugar coat things for me but instead pushed me to face the areas I needed growth in and be kind to myself.
