Wonderful. Saw him a few times years ago. Very competent and caring. My strained ankle healed great with his recommended self care. No need for revisit. Years later I still remember this experience. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Cancell was rude and arrogant. He performed surgery on me and I am still in pain. When I expressed my disappointment, he brushed me off and referred me to another doctor in his office. I would not recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Cancell performed surgery on my foot and I was still in pain, tie was crooked. I had to see another doctor in his practice, and she fixed my botched surgery with excellent results.

I was seen by him three times for a broken foot and after the third visit I switched to a different doctor. The new doctor answered my questions and thoroughly examined me. As a result of the thorough exam, it was discovered that i also sprained my ankle, which was the reason for the pain i kept mentioning to Dr Cancell, which he never addressed. Aside from this, I found him to be condescending and belittling. He had no time for my questions or concerns and maintained a dismissive attitude, all the while standing in the doorway for a quick exit. He left most of the work to his interns, and couldn't get out of the office quick enough. When I logged on to the patient portal to review his notes, I found that he doesn't make notes except to say I was seen for a broken foot; no progress notations or any other additional information.

Dr. Steven Cancell is the best podiatrist in South Jersey. My family and I have been patients of Dr. Cancell for over 27 years. I went to another podiatrist because of an emergency situation but did not receive the the results from the treatment plan that Dr. Cancell provides. Highly recommend Dr. Cancell to family and friends who look for excellent care and treatment.

Performed surgery on both of my sons foot/ankle...he now walks with his right foot slanted to the side and still is very painful for him to walk...he now has to get surgery on both feet (again) from another doctor to correct what should of been corrected with Dr. Cancell
