List of The Philadelphia Hand To Shoulder Center's Reviews
Place isn't easy to find. Service was terrific!
I visited with Dr. Miller because of pain and loss of function in my thumbs. Dr. Miller was great. Our appointment was on time. He took time to review my past file and the recent x-rays that were done in the office and explain my options. I elected for injections in both thumbs. Very easy and little pain. After 24 hours I am pain free. Great doctor.
I’ve been trying for over a month to have a surgery done with this facility. This would be my third surgery. My first two surgeries went perfect. I had no problems one was in 2018 the other was in 2021. Both of those experiences were top-notch. I had no problems with scheduling and everything was done on time, now I’m trying to get a carpal tunnel surgery and it has been total chaos. The office staff for this facility seems to do nothing but try to pass you on to someone else. I’ve left several messages and I do not get called back after this surgery if I have any other issues, I will definitely not be going back to Philadelphia hand to shoulder .
I went to this office for carpal tunnel surgery. I was seen by the doctor and scheduled for surgery. The night before my surgery I received a phone call saying the surgery had to be canceled due to an emergency at the surgery center .I rescheduled with both the practice and myself not knowing if the surgery center would be reopened. The surgery center did not reopen in time for my surgery. The office however, did not call me to tell me that the surgery would not be able to take place because the surgery center was still closed. After many phone calls and going back-and-forth with the office I was scheduled for a third time at a different surgery center. Before the surgery date arrived Dr. Rekant called to inform me that the original surgery center was now open. I chose to schedule my surgery at that Surgery Center, Doctor Rekant assured me that I would be put on the schedule and the date was set. I called the office four days before the surgery date. and to my dismay, I was not on the schedule. I called the office and left a message saying "your office is horrible". this message was apparently very offensive because today I received a letter stating that I disrupted their practice and that I would not be able to have my surgery done through Philadelphia hand to shoulder. I have never experienced anything more unprofessional. I cannot believe that after wasting almost 2 months of my time they were so offended by my statement and now I have to start all over looking for a new surgeon.
Dr. Miller was very efficient. He sowed a caring attitude.
Very nice and very professional. No wait time for office appointments.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
