Tom T. Noff's Online Review Report Card

I saw Dr. Noff in July 2022. Although we weren’t able to establish a reliable diagnosis at that time, he spent a lot of time with me listening to my concerns and asking questions. He was direct in his delivery of his opinions, while also listening to mine, which I appreciated. I felt like he was interested in helping me find an answer to the problem that had plagued me for 1.5 years at the time, which is a feeling that has been rare throughout my medical journey so far.

Dr. Noff is the worst kind of doctor. As others here have said, he’s dismissive and arrogant. I have a complex medical history, and somehow I was treated as though I was being interrogated rather than spoken to like a human. Dr. Noff had a fellow in the room with him. He asked me inappropriate questions about my personal life that had nothing to do with my symptoms, as my symptoms are pain related. He spoke down to me, giving his fellow side glances and smirks. While he did offer me testing, and went over some of the potential causes of my symptoms, even if he is knowledgeable, I won’t ever find out because I was very uncomfortable with him, so I went elsewhere. As another reviewer here said, we are not merely patients, we are people. And everyone deserves respect and compassion. Perhaps Dr. Noff has not experienced adversity or pain, so he feels no empathy. Based on the other reviews, I hope Cooper takes note of this. I’ve been happy with my other docs so this is disappointing .

I originally came to doctor Noff as a young man with very terrifying neurological symptoms. He immediately dismissed my symptoms and told me I had a mental illness. Barely testing me for anything. On the way out after he told me that I was imagining my symptoms he told me to give him a 5 star review “you know the drill”, and that most people with my “mental illness” return to about 80% of their capacity. When another more competent neurologist gave me a serious diagnosis after a second opinion, Noff completely dismissed me and refused to even try any treatments. Told me there was no need for me to follow up with him. This man single-handedly destroyed my faith in the medical community. I may not be your son or brother, but I’m still a human who is suffering immensely and would like to believe that my life matters.

I had a terrible experience. The doctor was so mean . He had a terrible bed side manor . He talk about me in front of me to student . Talked down to me . He dismissed my concerns and basically didn’t want to do test doctor ordered . I felt like he didn’t even do a thorough test . I wouldn’t recommend anyone to see him .
