He is a good doctor but his office staff are the most inept group of people that I’ve ever seen. The absolute worst.
Dr.Werbitt has been my doctor since the 90’s. I love and trust him. Today I find out he will not be doing my procedure. I am confused, and heart broken. I pray that all is well with him and his family.
I saw Dr Werbitt twice and my experience was so bad, I quit. This is the first time I've ever switched doctors mid-treatment.1. I arrived on time for my afternoon appointment. I waited 70 minutes in the first waiting room. Then another 65 minutes in the back waiting room before seeing the doctor. The staff indicated to me afterwards that this is completely normal in this office.2. They gave me the wrong script for the pharmacy. I had to call back to have the correct one sent over.3. One day I was in a lot of pain, I called in and was placed on the "call back" list. They told me that Dr Werbitt would call me back after he was done seeing patients. He never called.I normally don't write bad reviews on the internet, and try to avoid negativity, but I feel like if this info can help others, it's worth doing.
I've been seeing him for years now and I'm very satisfied. Just had my colonoscopy and endoscopy and all is well.
Please DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME,.... the office is dirty, mold on window sills, the front end has no clue what the back office is doing, the EMR system is weak, they still put everything on paper, prior authorizations, sit until someone gets a chance to be done, they are short handed & you may wait over an hour to be seen. No new technology,

Lots of problems with this doctor
Lot la of problems
Took my father there and waited 3 hours. Doctor only wants to do procedures for the money. Patient rooms are dirty and there is mold on walls, peeling wallpaper as you walk down hallway along with tape on the rugs to help you from not tripping on your way out. While waiting noticed there were no smoke detectors. Don’t waste your time.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Werbitt since I was 32 and he has been nothing but professional, courteous and educational with my concerns. I have recommended several patients to him.
DR. SHATA IS VERY NICE PERSON CARES ABOUT HIS PATIENTS. I JUST DIDN'T LIKE WAITING LONG THAT DAY,USUALLY IT DOESNT TAKE LONG.
Dr Werbitt is the best GI doctor. He is very nice , very patient and caring. He is the last of The few caring Doctors. At times, the wait time can be long , because he actually spends time with each patient.
this is the worst practice I've ever encountered! the appointment was for 4:00 pm and though I realize that there's usually a little bit of wait but this place sets new lows for punctuality and time management..I waited till 5:30 pm at that point I just went to the receptionist and cancelled my appointment! Never going to this place or wI'll ever encourage anyone to go to this practice! if I could give it negative stars then it would be -10 stars...these ppl have no concept of other time management!
My mother goes to this doctor she has been having very bad acid reflux lately. Instead of trying to help her and advise her he instead is more interested in doing procedures (which all came out normal and probably could have been avoided). During the follow up appointment he was not responsive to several questions asked and only paid attention to his computer. Would not recommend. Very unhelpful person.
Dr. Warren Werbitt is by far the absolute best! Dr. Werbitt's care and compassion for his patients is unique in today's uncaring world.
Very caring, knowledgeable and kind doctor. Have recommended to several people.
Dr. Werbitt was the first doctor in over two weeks that took the time to listen and empathetically care about the pain I was in. He took time out of his day to go above and beyond and get me an appointment for another specialist. He is a rare gem in today's medical world. Thank you Dr. Werbitt, see you soon!
Dr Werbitt is the BEST Dr. I have ever had. Other than having to wait in the waiting room for a while past your appointment time, I cannot say enough good things. The staff is very friendly and Dr Werbitt spends as much time with you as you need. It is very rare these days to have such a compassionate and caring Dr.
I am new to this office and I was a bit disappointed with the wait time UNTIL I was the patient in the room that received the Dr's. undivided attention and the time that I needed to explain my health issue. I found the staff very courteous and genuine, although very busy as the phones never stop ringing. If you want an educated physician to care for you with the compassion of a family member, this is your office!
I have been a patient of Dr Werbitt since the late 1980's . He is a very compassionate doctor who always gives you undivided attention when you are in the room with him. He has numerous top doctor awards and he is well deserving of them. If you are looking for a drive-by doctor then this is not the man you want but if you want a well-educated professional who cares for his patients then this is the doctor for you. He has trained as a pharmacist, D.O. and also has a MD. 10 stars!
