List of MIchael E. Beams's Reviews
Don’t waste your time, he is a very arrogant and negligent doctor/person. Did not address any of the issues which were the reason for my visit. He should no longer be practicing medicine, he is the worst doctor I’ve ever been to and continuously insulted me rather than examining the issues in question.
I love Dr Beams I travel over 80 miles to see him..Wont look for a new Dr until he decides to give it up
Highly recommended. Dr. Beams, never makes you feel rushed and always has great bedside manner. Glad I have found an office and Doctor that has the time to care for their patients. Thank you Dr. Beams and your staff.
Dr. M. Beams has been my families doctor for as long as i can remember! He's is one of the only doctors i will see due to other situations when seeing another doctor outside Dr. Beams circle. He's is always a kind, caring, and honest man, who does wonderful work as a doctor. I will never go to anyone else but Dr. Beams and it will continue that way for as long as possible. He has help myself and my family out for many years and I thank him whole heartily for his concern and help with my family. We all love him and is an amazing doctor and person all around. I recommend Dr. Beams to everyone and even the other doctors in his building and department. They are all great and amazing people!
Great doctor - very caring about everything. Has taken care of my sports related injuries, general care, and emergency illness in the best possible ways. He looks at the whole person, not just the immediate problem. I would highly recommend him for anyone looking for a GP or sports medicine doctor.
I've been a patient of Dr. Beams for years and have never had any problems at all.
I love Dr. Beams. He has been our family's primary care physician for over 35 years. He cared for my 98 year old grandmother, my husband when he tore a muscle, my mother for high blood pressure issues, my son, and me. He is knowledgeable, caring, and kind. Importantly, he diagnosed me with mono during my 40's. Very glad he is my physician--I trust and feel safe with him.
I have been his patient for 15 years. He is one of the most caring doctors you will find. He is honest and tells you the facts. If he doesn't know something he will tell you. His passion for his job is exemplified in his care for his patients.
I just started going to Dr. Beam and I must say he seems pretty good. He's quick in diagnosing ... He's helping me control and fight off my high cholesterol . I'm feeling confident with Dr. Beam and I feel he cares enough . My only issue so far is that his waiting is long. My appoint wait was almost an hour and that's just waiting to called. My waiting there Continues in the back room until the Dr actually sees me. To tell you the truth I just think this is another waiting room where you're placed so your not upset as much to still be waiting. This is upsetting to me ... Because I know once I actually see the Dr. It will be only 5 mins and that would then mean one appoint I spent over an hour waiting for a 5 min look at.
This practice has changed a lot and I know as I have been a long time patient. The doctors used to be caring and had a personal touch. In my opinion the level of care has gone down, they still have a great bedside manner but there should be more to care than a friendly doctor. The wait time to get a person to talk to on the phone is absurd. Also this last visit they just took my insurance card, didn't tell me that they didn't participate with that particular Aetna and sent me for all kinds of tests. It was all out of network and the way I found out was when I got a bill for the services classified as out-network. I shouldn't have bothered to call the office as they directed me to their billing service who kept saying that's what I owed for the visits. Really?? whose responsibility is it at the doctors office to tell patients if they don't participate with a particular insurance. They did participate last year but not since under the umbrella of Summit Medical. None of my family will be going there. Surely there are better doctors in this area.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
