List of Peter M. Farrugia's Reviews
Most thorough and helpful doctors visit I have had in a long time! Left my appointment with Dr Farrugia feeling confident with the next steps suggested as well as the trust that I was in great care. Would highly recommend this friendly, knowledgeable and very clean practice!
I would not recommend. My first visit I was left in the exam room for 40 minutes waiting for the doctor....they forgot I was in the room. Okay stuff happens...after 4 calls to them trying to get my echo results, each time asking me the facility I had it done and each time telling them where, I finally faxed them the results that was sent to me in my patient portal. I call again and they said they still haven't received it. I asked them why don't they call the hospital to get the results and they had the nerve to say, "because sometimes that's a hassle!!" I mean, I don't know, this is my heart that's being examined, not my foot!
I had the worst experience with the office person who checked me in. She was rude and arrogant and showed no customer service skills at all. I judge a doctor by the people he places in his organization. I walked out before my appointment. Terrible time.
Only your insurance info is important for this office
Saved my life.
My experience with Dr. Farrugia and his staff was very positive. The office is very clean and the staff is friendly. Dr. Farrugia took his time while taking my medical history and performing my physical exam and he wasn’t glued to a computer screen which has unfortunately become the norm at most drs offices.
This is one of the worst experience I ever had with a doctor's office. I made an appointment with Dr. Peter Farrugia and was seen by his PA, Michelle Portadin instead and he came in at the end of my visit with a resident to say hello. They sent me for tests and never followed up with me with the test results for almost two months. I finally called them to get my results and was told that the PA was on vacation and will call me when she returns. She called me on 8/30 and basically told me everything was fine. I even had to read one of the test report that I got from the radiology office myself to her as she did not have it! Then I get an EOB for 8/30/21 as they consider that a telehealth visit, so I called the office and spoke to Stephanie, the front desk and she transferred me to Lisa, the manager who is one of the most condescending people I ever spoke to. She insists that patients need to make an appointment to get their test results and as a service to the patients during the pandemic, they do telehealth visits. I was not informed ahead of time that this was considered a telehealth visit and that I have to pay for another doctor's visit just to get my test results. I will never recommend anyone go to this office as they are only interested in getting as much money from you as possible and they do not care or follow up with their patients. They expect you to do all the follow-up with them and pay them for it too! The only thing they do really quickly is submit claims to your insurance company!
Outstanding MD
Dr Farrugia and his staff provided exceptional service and were beyond personal. He was very knowledgeable and clearly explained everything. Definitely recommend.
Dr. Farrugia was kind and open to hearing about my experiences with my health. Gives his undivided attention and really cares about patients. Highly recommended.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
