Dr. Hickman took time to get my medical history and listen to my concerns. This appointment was not rushed even though intake took quite a while. I felt she was warm, caring, and professional - everything I'm looking for in a new PCP.

Wooh... when I first started the journey of finding someone to tell me "girl you need to get yourself together" I wasn't really thrilled about it... so I brought myself and kids to this establishment and it was probably THE best choice for us If you want a doctor who is going to just give you fluff than this isn't the place for you... if you want a doctor who is going to get all up in your business and make sure they are clear on your health so that they can give you the best care...than definitely sign in and have a seat because someone will be with you in a few... My Insurance requires referrals like most and the ladies working this area including Ms. Joanne (super sweet) at the front are always on top of it...they don't miss a beat... I love how they make us feel cared for... I was sooo in between on if I should go there or not based on the internet reviews I saw ...and I am glad I just took the chance My kids and I have seen both Dr. Renee Hickman and Dr. Eddie Akrout and I appreciate the care they both provide especially during some of our rougher days Thank you to the whole team over there!

I HAVE SEEN HER A FEW TIMES ALREADY AND SHE HAS NEVER BEEN MORE PROFESSIONAL AND FUNNIER AND SWEET. SHE DOESNT LIE OR SUGAR COAT THE TRUTH TO SPARE FEELINGS BECAUSE SHE IS IN THE BUSINESS OF KEEPING YOU HEALTHY AND ALIVE. PEOPLE NOWADAYS NEED THAT AND I APPRECIATE THAT. I THINK I HAVE BEEN MORE COMPLIANT NOW THAN I HAVE EVER BEEN WITH ANY DR. BECAUSE OF HER EDUCATING ME GIVING STRAIGHT UP FACTS NO CHASER WITH OPTIONS. I ALSO LIKE HAVING A DR WHO KNOWS ME AND WHO LOOKS LIKE ME AND CAN TREAT ME AS SUCH.

Stopped in for a visit with lingering cold like symptoms because my Dr was not available and referred me to their office. Just wanted to get some blood work and maybe an antibiotic. Was snarky, dismissive, and tried to intimidate me with wild scenarios about how I'll be in an old folks home when I'm 40 based on my blood pressure being slightly high today. One long winded rant about how much more important blood pressure is to determining health than any other Dr. thinks later, and she tried to put me on blood pressure medicine AND birth control. Thanks, but I have a Dr. I'm working with who knows me and my history for my other health concerns. For my cold she wanted to give me Prednisone! Prednisone has quite a lot of side effects, the number one being HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE... Also said working out does LITERALLY nothing for weight loss. As a health professional? Surprised she didn't order me sugar pills and Chemo. Could have gotten better health advice from a Dr. Pepper....

Dr Hickman is an amazing provider ! New to practice office staff was efficient Michele RN was very personable also. Spent a great amount of time with Dr Hickman, very thorough answered questions and discussed recommendations, outstanding bedside manner I was not afraid to discuss my concerns with her . As a nurse I felt like I was discussing my concerns with a colleague but still comfortable to ask questions and discuss treatments etc. If you’re looking for a new PCP schedule a meet and great appointment you won’t be disappointed

De Hickman was thorough personable easy to talk with and I never felt rushed ! Office staff is awesome Michele RN was efficient and friendly office is clean and beautiful

Dr. Hickman shows very too little concern or care for her patients the doctor had a concern about a medication that I was on from another physician I completed all of the testing that she needed to refill a script for me but she made me wait until the last thing on Friday to get that script and then wrote it wrong so that I could not get my medication this resulted in me having to go to the emergency room for withdrawal symptoms dr. Hickman is more concerned about leaving the office on time

When I first went to Dr. Hickman, I thought she was very thorough, caring and took time with me. As the years went on and the computers in the exam rooms came into play, things changed and not for the better. More concerned about getting everything into the computer correctly than about addressing my issues, in and out of the exam room very quickly and I am no longer impressed with her new bedside manner.
