List of Farzana A. Alekseyeva's Reviews
Dr. Alekseyava is a great doctor but her practice has not been the same since she's been with RWJ. Her office is short staffed, and very slow to respond. Its ridiculous how long it takes to get through to her to get a prescription refill or make an appointment. Her staff is unhelpful and just says you have to wait until she's in the office. If you call her office on the days she's in, you will keep getting voicemail and then be told they're short staffed so they can't answer their phones. I've tried to be patient but might just have to look for another doctor now, at least someone who can give you a refill without having to wait 2 weeks.
I am so glad I found Dr. Alekseyeva. Best GYN I have ever met! I cannot estimate how many physicians I have known in my life. Imagine what luck I had! She is extremely talented, kind, knowledgeable, brilliant and compassionate! She is a heck of a human being as well as being a great doctor!
They won’t let you have your own test results when you want to transfer to another doctor. I had to pay for basic blood work out of pocket even though insurance is supposed to cover it and everything done with another doctor was entirely covered by insurance. Both of them are IN-NETWORK. First visit lasted about 5 min of conversation with the Dr and the blood work (after 20-30 min of wait). My main concern was severe nausea and DR prescribed B6 vitamins which were not helping at all. And when called an office multiple times throughout 2 days to ask question regarding prescription, they said Dr is busy with other patients back to back
Dr. Farzana is no doubt the best OB/ GYN I had seen till now. She handled my diabetic pregnancy and helped me throughout the pregnancy and explained everything clearly and gives ample amount of time to patients to clear their doubts. BUT that was all about 2021. Now I don't know looks like the staff is the worst and most of the time creating a miscommunication between doc and patient. For example, when I asked the staff about if they have received my ultrasound reports yet (Not to forget , I was bleeding due to miscarriage ) and the staff checked and told me not yet. However , when I went inside to discuss with the doctor, she was holding my report and thankfully discussing it. Another one, Same miscarriage phase , the doc asked me to get blood work done to make sure pregnancy hormone went back to zero or negative. However, blood work was done on 21st of oct and today(nov 2) after 3 days of following up with the office nicely & patiently, I have to yell at them over the phone to make them to take hardly 5-10 mins out of their schedule to inform their patient that its ok even if the test result is 2 for pregnancy hormone. No matter, that in my last visit the doc emphasised that it should be zero/ negative. I don’t know what to trust anymore. The worst staff ever.

Very professional staff, clean office. Staff makes you feel comfortable and at home. The Dr. Is awesome listens, and makes sure she is thorough!
She always goes into details about everything. She’s the best!
I switched over to Dr. Alekseyeva since May, after having issues with my first OB upon moving to NJ. She and her staff have been great especially with my first pregnancy. Willing to take the extra time to answers all my questions and not feeling rushed at all.
Hardly no wait time, and I was in and out in less then an hour . The front desk is polite and rye doctor takes her time explaining things to you .

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
