Fantastic physician. Great bedside manner. Made what should have been a stressful procedure not stressful as all. Everything went well. Was pleasant, always accessible and returned my calls in a timely manner. Would recommend without hesitation.

Excellent Doctor took care of me when I needed emergency surgery. He went above and beyond to accommodate me, I was a new patient to his practice and he made sure I was taken care of in the emergency room. He met me in the ER after personally discussing my symptoms with me, I was in a lot of pain and he went to great lengths to get me seen as soon as possible. I greatly appreciate his thoughtfulness, professionalism and empathy.

Doctor Shrager is fantastic, great surgeon, and actually took time to explain everything and answer all our questions, this guy cares, awesome personality too.

He was wonderful! Carefully walked me, the nervous mom, through the entire process my 10 year old daughter had to have done. Listened to her about her pain and comfort levels and has been excellent both during and after the procedure.

My visits with D. Schrager , including office and hospital visits have always been excellent. He explains the problems he thinks I'm havinf, and the solution to the problem. Great bedside manner!

I don't even know where to begin to express my love and appreciation for Dr. Shrager. 500 characters is not enough to put his amazing character into words. He went above and beyond anything I've ever experienced from any medical professional before. His knowledge, expertise, attentiveness, surgical practices, patient focus, bedside manner and communication are not to be matched. Dr. Shrager is top notch! I have been a nurse for over forty years but never encountered a doctor like Dr. Shrager. He performed a colon resection on me due to an attack of diverticulitis. He showed a level of professionalism I had rarely seen. From my first encounter he made himself readily available if I had any questions. He was thorough in explaining the procedure and made me feel very comfortable and confident. And most important he's an amazing surgeon. I can't say enough about him.

If there is a more competent, caring Surgeon I would be shocked. His bedisde manner is exceptional, and his surgical skills are phenomenal. I would recommend him to anyone that needs a surgeon. He is exceptional!!

Dr. Shrager performed an 8 hour surgery on my husband. His expertise & what he did in that operating room were amazing as was his compassion towards me & my family. Once my husband came home from the hospital, Dr. Shrager checked on him not only at office visits but through emails & even a weekend phone call. We are so grateful Dr. Shrager was recommended to us by our gastrointestinal doctor, & we would highly recommend him!
