List of John Ho Md's Reviews
I had a great experience at Dr. Ho’s office. The front desk staff was very friendly especially when I had to move my appointment around they were very accommodating and understanding. The nurse was so sweet and made me feel so comfortable. Dr. Ho listened to me and gave me more than one option when it came to concerns I had about my health. I’m happy I found a primary doctor that I can stick with.
Very caring and knowledgeable professionals. I value their input and insights. They go the extra mile in answering questions and solving new medical issues. I have been with Dr Ho and Lauren De Marco for many years and would not change providers and highly recommend them. I am multiple high risk and have been for years - cancer, stem cell transplant, heart attack, COPD, diabetes, etc. and they have taken care of me and provided excellent referrals when I needed a new specialist. I have had the health issues for many many years - way before I started seeing Dr Ho and Lauren. That I am still here is a tribute to my physicians.
Im writing this email because i wanted to express the disappointment in how the hiring process was handled within Atlantic Health Company. I think i was treated unfairly mainly because the Covid vaccine was never mentioned to me during not even after i had the interview, nor was it even mentioned in the job posting. I took it upon myself to ask and i felt i should ask then since i was going through the hiring process, getting my background check, filling out paperwork etc and by the time i was ready to actually start the job i would have already had the second shot. I was a new hire coming in to the company and to be put in the same category as someone already established within the company was not right in any way, there should have definitely been some sort of grace period. Keith, from the HR dept, mentioned that he was going by the government and that the due date was March 30th but i too looked into that and per governor Murphy he extended that due date to May 11th according to the CMS rule EO 290, its been modified and signed by him on Mar 2nd. Those companies that follow the CMS rule has been extended to April 11th, and those that are not subject to the CMS rule is covered to May 11th. I spoke with Athena the office manager last Monday, a week ago when i was told by Keith (HR), she informed me that she would do all she could do to move forward and that she would keep me posted and i still haven't heard anything. I even emailed this manager the following day without a response and even called a few times with no call back. No one should have to assume especially when she told me she would get back to me and no one should feel that they committed some sort of crime the way I've been treated. I was left in limbo and that's not right, im still in limbo because i still don't know where i stand in this situation. I remained professional throughout this whole ordeal and i was not treated that way in return. They hired me and i just feel it could have been handled a lot better and more professional. I strongly feel things happen for a reason and i see that how this was handled its a blessing im not working for this company or Dr. Ho's practice after all. Good luck to whomever that office hire! Hopefully the next person in line would be treated better. Unfortunately i had to put a star there but this company deserves zero!
Run don't walk from this establishment! If you go for wellness visit and mention anything related to your health they will charge another office visit. THIS PLACE IS A RIPOFF AND BORDERING ON MEDICAL FRAUD
I have been going to this office for years and could not be more satisfied. Both doctors (Dr. Ho and Dr. Lauren) are very polite and take the extra time out to explain everything to you. They have also been pretty much spot on in determining what was wrong w/ me and how best to address whatever the issue was. I'm glad Dr. Ho was recommended to me years ago.
When you run into health issues that other doctors cannot find cure, Dr. Ho might be the one you should look for. He will explain different treatments other doctors are likely to offer and explain the one he thinks would be the best for you. His solution is simple and effective. He can screen the irrelevant out of a discussion and nail the root cause. If you are open minded and compatible, you will see the excellence in Dr. Ho that you cannot find elsewhere.
I’m writing this review on behalf of my mother who is a new patient there. Just a few days ago we experienced my mother having a severe episode of HBP and other symptoms so it was only natural for her daughter to take action right? I immediately called her PCP at the time to tell me what to do, and they were NO help at all and were clueless as to how to treat a spike in HBP. I had to no choice but to call 911. The next day I spent about 8 whole hours calling doctors in my area to see who was available to see my mother and to make sure everything was okay. Either doctors were not accepting new patients or nothing was available until the following week. In my opinion, this was a time sensitive case and I believe many can agree on that. Finally, I called the office here, and the receptionist immediately knew and could feel how anxious and overwhelmed I had been trying to book an appointment for my mother, and told me she could come in within the next 10 minutes. We live about 3 minutes away from the office. I felt like I finally was talking to a receptionist that saw how severe this could have been and the importance of being checked to rule out things. We went in for the appointment, we’re seen by the nurse Stacie who went above and beyond my expectations, and made my mom feel incredibly comfortable. They performed all types of tests on her and made her feel at ease, especially myself as well. We also wanted to just double make sure my mom was ok so we went in the next day as well so that Dr. John Ho could see her as well, and he also just completely made my mom feel comfortable. He took his time in answering every and all questions we had, was incredibly competent, understanding, and patient. I am so relieved my mom has found a new PCP we can both trust, and the convenience of being right in my town is just the best. Thank you to the entire office for seeing my mom as an urgent case, and for calming my nerves down with this whole matter. You’ve gained a new client and she is super happy.
I’m writing this review on behalf of my mother. She’s a new patient with Dr. Ho. She is extremely relieved to have a doctor near by who shows competence, patience, and understanding. He answered all our questions, and took his time to explain things in depth. This was the only doctors office in our area that was accepting new patients and also would see us last minute. We are so happy that my mom has a new PCP and I can’t forget to mention the nurse Stacie is also extremely knowledgeable and caring, we are so grateful for this practice and the staff.
Always listens and offers advise. Explains things to you??
I have high praises for Dr. John Ho and Stacie Carangelo APN. Very professional, they take the time to listen to my concerns and include me in discussing what course of treatment is appropriate in my situation. Appointments are either same day or the next morning. The wait time in the office is less than 15 minutes. Emergencies are dealt with accordingly. I recommend Dr. John Ho and Stacie Carangelo APN based on my experience with them.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
