As a dental professional for over 30 years, my experience at Dr. cohens office was the most professional and exceptional care I could ever ask for.. From the staff at the front desk , his assistant, and Dr. cohen.. it was beyond my expectations of what a surgeon is.. and a true team.. the quality of care this office gives is undeniably the best around.. Dr. cohen is not only an oral surgeon , but an MD.. and his intelligence not only matches his caring heart, but personality is a plus too, while dealing with my teenager!
It's best to avoid Dr. Cohen's practice. Although his work is professional and up to par, it's the billing process that harms patients. Our insurance provider payed for a procedure. We also were billed for the same procedure that we payed out of pocket. Our attempts to obtain a refund were met with hostility and confrontation by the office staff.
After reviewing our payment invoice from Dr. Cohen's office, we were informed by our insurance provider they had payed for a procedure, and that a fee on our invoice was nonbillable (a double charge for one procedure). We spoke to the Office Manager and she initially agreed the fee was nonbillable. When we requested a refund for our out-of-pocket payment, we received nothing but grief and non-cooperation. It's obvious a credit is due us, but the Dr. Cohen's office staff would rather fight patients than do the right thing.
Their office removed four wisdom teeth from my daughter in February. I paid $1100 out of pocket - my EOB informed me that it was a $300 over payment. Dr. Cohen's office appealed our agreed upon - and their contractually obligated - amount to avoid having to pay me a balance. A nice term for healthcare fraud. I've obviously contacted my dental insurance but that's not enough - clearly a prospective patient should be aware of deceptive billing practices. Avoid at all costs.
A good visit. No waiting and the office was very sanitary and safe.
I have full confidence in Dr Cohen and his staff. Curtious, clean, modern, and thorough dental work.
Dr. Cohen and staff were so helpful with my tooth extraction- even during quarantine.
I had a very nice experience when I came to have a wisdom tooth removed. Everyone was kind and made me feel at ease. The procedure was fast and painless! Thanks to Dr. Cohen and his team!
Great..nothing more needs to be said!
I had 4 wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Cohen. My healing was going well, until day 4. I began having a horrific migraine & jaw pain. I called & was told that this is normal/might be a side effect of the pain meds. So I stopped taking them. I went in for a follow-up visit on day 6 & was told that it was "too early for dry socket" & that the pain I was feeling was due to food trapped in the sockets." Day 8, I am still in agony. Mind you, I've had a baby & foot surgery. This pain was a 10/10. I called Dr. Cohen's office for the 3rd time that week & was once again dismissed. I was told the pain was "normal." I asked to have the doctor call me back & he never did. I decided to go to my regular dentist who said I have dry socket. They preformed a packing treatment & an hour later I was totally fine. Upon calling Dr. Cohen's office to tell them, Victoria, the medical assistant, was unapologetic & quite rude. And this whole time, I never spoke with Dr. Cohen. He always had his med asst. call back

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
