Sunita Kanumury's Online Review Report Card

After reading pretty average to positive reviews I was looking fwd to the appointment for my son. I found her to be rude even walking out the door while I was in the middle of asking a question. She seemed annoyed with me trying to understand my sons condition and I got totally flustered. She talked down to me and seemed to not care one bit. She started poking my son (prick test) before I even knew what he was being tested for. I left more confused and frustrated than ever. Would not recommend her.

Office disorganized. Denied we had an appointment after we had called to confirm and received a text message. Appt at 1:30. By 3 pm still hadn’t seen the doctor. Extremely rude service. Left after waiting an hour and a half.

I found her to be wonderful and caring doctor. After one visit- She listened well, targeted my issues, prescribed meds that made me so much better, even fixed my gastric reflux! My second visit was a very happy follow up. She approached me very wholisticly and being someone with so many symptoms and illnesses its usually dizzying to get help like this. I highly recommend her To anyone!

I got COVID 19. I am a high risk person with several health conditions including asthma. I was sick to the bones and very close to meet my ancestors. She acted fast and today is my first day without COVID 19 and I wouldn't be writing this review now if it wasn't for her amazing job. I brought my young daughter to see Dr. Kanumury multiple times for her various food allergies. Overall, Dr. Kanumury does not listen to my concerns and talks over me. If I try to explain what experiences we had and food exposures, she cuts me off to ask her questions. She doesn’t want to hear what I have to say. During our last appointment she asked me, “What foods do you want tested?”, for my daughter’s blood test. I asked her what she thought, we discussed and agreed on a list of foods. After getting home I called and requested that one additional food be added to the list. She refused. After 4 phone calls with this doctor’s office and dealing with the rude afternoon staff, I never got what I has asked for. I will be taking my daughter to another doctor.

None hand an clue even the doctor why was here for. I was there an unganoised life threatening food allergery. The pa said next step in skin test. I asked does that includes foods! I had them before. No, it only common allergeries. Dogs, cats, pollen and dust mites. I'm not here for that. Talks to doc. Doctor comes pretents to read what in my chart. What she saying was NOT what I said first time in the office. She also, said I was tested before for food allergeries. I never was that why I'm here. I asked her do even test for food allergies? no we do not. Then why do you specializes in it in your site and reviews? No answer. I said you know how scary it is to not know if can eat safely. I start wheezing next thing in the ER. I have ashstma how do I know what the difference between an asthma attack and food attack? She said she did not know. How do use an EpiPen and when? What is this c She said I did not study food allergies. Is she real MD or what? I thought odd she made download and fill out all this paperwork about food allergies and no clue what one is? The ER told anaphylaxis shock. She cannot? Tell the systoms of it it?

We have a two year old who has had diarrhea and just miserable for nearly two years. Have been to several doctors in person throughout his little two years of life and no one could figure out what was wrong. I called this doctor and did tele medicine, and with instruction on what to do for diet, and other things saw a vast change in our son. Things aren’t perfect, we are getting there little by little! This doctor has made such a difference in our lives and our sons, and while we are still working together to figure this all out I have complete faith in her ability as a doctor, I trust her, I look forward to speaking to her when we do, I wish I had found her sooner! I am excited for the future for my son, and being educated by such a good woman and doctor in how to care for his specific needs. She is amazing and I highly recommend her !!!
