Discussed treatment re special needs patient. Had everything setup with anesthesiologist Dr Stein recommended, then days later Dr Stein backs out of the procedure. No explanation given. I can assume he didn’t want to treat the special needs patient or he has a bias. I am stumped.

This isn't a critique of Dr. Stein's work, which was seamless. He's an affable man, besides. His prices, however, are high comparatively, and if you have a lean insurance plan you may want to go elsewhere. Also, the work was contracted with my insurance company at a lower price, but I paid half the amount of the full price, then received a bill from Stein's office stating I owed more (an insinuation that insurance was only paying 20% instead of 50%). If it wasn't for that bill, I wouldn't have called the insurance company to find out that Stein's office overcharged me. I was mailed a check to satisfy the correct amount.

Dr. Stein performed a "sinus lift" in preparation for two implants. I was nervous, to say the least. I was so pleasantly surprised how painless the procedure was and how comfortable the staff made me feel. I would definitely highly recommend Dr. Stein for any oral surgery needed.
