List of Infanta A. Stephen Md's Reviews
Phone never answered constant ringing no voice mail. Disability couldn't even get in touch. Crazy late fees on a late payment on a bill that was charged wrong simply due to wrong date of referral. My pcp sent exactly what they asked for a usual $75 bill is now well over 1500$. Dr. Is knowledgeable about alot but jumps to conclusions immediately due to personal choices/ lifestyle etc. including weight ....mind you I lost 75lbs between visits.
EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!!! This office is very unprofessional. I made an appointment two months ago. I said it was a bit of an emergency, but they said that they couldn't see me any sooner. I waited all this time for my appointment today. I showed up and the office door was locked. I called and heard the phone ringing behind the door. A woman picked it up and said there are no doctors there today ...
Have had a serious and progressive diagnosed and confirmed neuropathy in my legs and previous MD and Neurologist have not diagnosed the cause or offered a treatment plan given a 2 year stretch to do so. Hence looking for a new doctor. Dr. Stephen was recommended to me by a close family member who is an administrator in one of her hospitals. Well, the appointment lasted 4 minutes. She had me walk 10 feet, tapped my knees, spent all of 10 seconds looking at the tests and records, cut me off and did not listen to much of anything I had to say, then told me to go back to my old doctor and left the room. Such curtness and rudeness I have never before experienced, and I am not one of those crazy hypochondriacs or professional patients. We drove 35 miles to see her based on the recommendation. I was in pain and barely able to walk. Wow. What more can I say. Except, yeah, the Dover office was a throw back to 1955 and they do not much seem to care. Good luck.

Her room in the Sparta office is large, and she seats the patient on the far side of the room from herself. I have trouble hearing her at that distance!
Dr Stephen saw me at the hospital when I was admitted. I don't remember much about that day but my daughter who is a nurse was very favorably impressed. My experience with follow-up visits to her office , contrary to the one star reviews was very good, office staff members were pleasant and courteous. I have difficulty hearing, Dr Stephen made sure I understood what she was saying.
The Hackettstown office building was a little "run down" on the outside and on the inside; the office was clean, neat and as well kept as it could be (outdated). The office staff was friendly, Dr. Stephen was pleasant enough, answered all of my questions. She was understanding about my concerns of my condition, and reassuring, that time would "heal" the symptoms. She was quick to order the proper therapy, and wanted the best of the best to supervise it.It is workers comp case so, it was DENIED.
I have never in my life witness such an unprofessional Doctor in my life. She kept a patient in the hospital longer than necessary. Four days when completely healthy. Left notes in patient's file without sharing the notes with patient. Never explained the testing needed or what the process was. Took calls while with patient. When patient complained to hospital about not knowing anything about their stay the doctor got extremely unprofessional and got in a heated argument with patient/family.
This practice is awful. Refuses to make appointments for new patients.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
