List of Wayne L. Greene Md's Reviews
This goes way back- He happens to be my old elementary school best friend Dale's brother, I grew up with his older sister Dale in North Merrick many, many years ago. Wayne and his younger brother Robert and their parents were all good friends of my family- I miss those days alot- I am sure you will be treated well and professionally by Wayne. Although I live on Long Island, I recommend his services- M Frisella
Dr green is the best he saved my life
O
Very, very uncaring doctor. Horrible bedside manner. I found out a year after seeing him several times, from an orthopedic surgeon, that my leg could've been saved if I'd taken the proper steps during the initial window of time I had to treat nerve damage. I now have very, very low quality of life because of something that could have been avoided had it not been for Wayne Greene's incompetence. Disgusted.
I have seen Dr. Greene a total of 5 times over the last 12 years or so. Thrice in the hospital (St. Clare's in Denville) and twice in his office in Dover. Both times in Dover I had to wait. By the second time I knew why. Dr.Greene is in no hurry to rush you in and out. He takes as much time as is needed per patient. Sometimes (as with me), this is a long time. I am a Ph.D Neurophysiologist and Dr. Greene, both in hospital and in his office has always treated me a peer. He listens to my question, is very willing to discuss possible diagnoses and treatment, and never, every does the "Superior Doctor and you will listen to me" thing. He is very smart, and very careful. He found two errors on a previous MRI that the radiologist had gotten wrong. He is caring and patient. To those who have complained that they had to wait too long in his office (I often complain about long waits in Dr.s offices) I ask you this: do you want it fast, or do you want it right? Do you want to be rushed so that the next guy doesn't have to wait, or do you want an MD who takes as long as YOU need? Wayne Greene is a superior neurologist and a great guy.
I found Dr. Greene to be a fantastic doctor who immediately knew that I was in serious need of a hospital. He and his staff did everything in their power to expediate approval for a CT scan as he was concerned that my carotid artery had dissected based on his thorough examination of me. Yes he was exceptionally close to me as he needed to do an exam of me. He needed to check a variety of potential symptoms by using his hands etc. so it was quite necessary. I also found his office to be fantastic as he has a wide range of medical antiques in his office. Quite frankly, I was as comfortable in his office as I ever was in any doctor's office and I found it to be very comfortable as compared to a stainless steel room that feels like a mortuary as most doctor's offices do.
Dr. Greene helped me out when I was too sick to get to the office. He is very caring and compassionate. I would definitely recommend him to family and friends.
Dr Greene is excellent. Kind, knowledgeable and caring.
Met Dr Greene at hospital a few hours after Mother suffered Cardiac Arrest at her home...she was deprived of oxygen for a significant period of time. Dr Greene was compassionate, kind and very complete in his explanation of her odds of recovery; in fact, given the data, he urged the family to remain downright hopeful in the very early hours when we were just dealing with our shock.
Excellent, caring doctor. He may make you wait a while and that's only because he spends as much time with you as needed.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
