David H. Koota's Online Review Report Card

Believe the bad reviews. David Koota is insincere, careless and unprofessional, among other things. I enlisted his services for an elective procedure. The day I received it, I left his office concerned. The surgical site wasn't bandaged after the produce and the aftercare instructions were severely lacking. A severe "complication" occured and I needed to be evaluated. From the subsequent office visits to the ER visit, the bills started piling up. He and his office had a chance to fix the problem both from the surgery and illegal bills I received. They did not. I had to have a second opinion and I was told that the "complication" could last for years or forever. Jennifer from billing called me. She was incredibly dismissive, churlish and arrogant which made this entire experience WORSE. A woman from corporate followed up with me and told me, "it may take a while" to resolve the issue. The next day, she called me back saying Dr. Koota and his office are absolutely refusing to accept responsibility and resolve their illegal billing practice. My story is similar to 2 other cases I pwrsonally know. If you want a professional and competent physician, he is not the person with whom you should trust.

Dr Koota helped my husband and did surgery on him. Very professional and kind!

This review if of his office staff. If I could give 0 stars I would. They are difficult to deal with. I just received a bill today for an appointment that happened 1 year ago.

Been with a kidney stone for over month and dr.koota said I needed to get surgery done really soon before he goes on vacation , and I go on vacation as well. He also said he will get this procedure done before we both leave. The scheduling person was suppose to call me within the next couple days, days pass by without a single call, me and my wife decided to call and we get transferred to voice mail every time , where we left multiple messages that we never have gotten a response. I am concerned for my health and that I leave soon for vacation I called again on march 15 at 2:00 pm . Receptionist answered and directed me to the voicemail once again and I tried to explain to her I already left multiple messages and haven’t gotten a call back and before I could finish what I was saying she hung up on me and not just once but 3 times and cuts me off every single time. I called one last time and finally the scheduling person answered I tried to explain and she did the same thing.

Five stars are not enough for my experience with Dr. Koota. I met Dr. Koota in the emergency room of Saint Peters in 2014 when I was in renal failure. My story is a long one, but in short, I had to have about five surgeries regarding kidney stones. The surgeon who I originally saw at Raritan Bay. Did not want to continue to treat me because I was uninsured at the time. At that emergency surgery in 2014, when I was scared for my life, Dr. Koota was concerned with me and only me and getting better when I told him that I didn’t have any insurance. After a surgery and many tests, Dr. Koota had discovered that my left kidney was non functional and probably was for some time. My right kidney was filled with huge kidney stones, the kind that will not pass through your system. I have had to have three surgeries over time to get rid of them. My kidney health for my one and only kidney is currently excellent and that is because of Dr. Koota‘s expertise and compassion for his patients and their well-being. I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Koota ( he saved my life) and I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Koota has the patience, knowledge, and amazing care as I went through prostate cancer and treatment. He removed my prostate with easy and walked me through the entire process. He also does not have a problem with being very specific to diagnosis. He also supports the Jets and Mets. Wonderful man - wonderful practice. His team is excellent as well. Extremely love the experience they give.

Dr Koota walked me thru Bladder cancer and from day one was on the mark. He was always there to see me when I had or imagined problems. He has the patience of a saint. I am NED for 16 months.

Dr Koota has the patience and knowledge. He walked me thru Bladder Cancer so that now I am NED. His bedside manner is wonderful. His office staff is the best and as caring as he is. How lucky was I

Dr. Koota is a very sincere physician and he is extremely professional. He even called, after hours, to reassure me that I would be fine and explained everything about my condition. I was indeed fine after being under his care. Thanks so much Dr. Koota.
